Fortnite, Chapter 4 Season 3, has introduced a brand-new Fortnite Battle Pass with the usual array of new character outfits, emotes, stacks of V-Bucks, and more. Each season, Fortnite players can play matches and complete challenges to gain XP and level up, earning Battle Stars that can be spent on new battle pass rewards. This season, Optimus Prime from the Transformers franchise leads a battle pass filled with new and original Fortnite characters.
Every time players level up in Fortnite, they earn five Battle Stars, which they can spend on any of the rewards found in the new battle pass. The battle pass has a few rewards that all players can buy, but most rewards can only be claimed by players who spend 950 V-Bucks to unlock the premium Battle Pass track. This season’s battle pass has fourteen pages of rewards, plus a vast array of bonus and quest rewards, and some content that’s yet to be officially announced.
Battle Pass Page One
The first page of the Fortnite Chapter Four Season Three battle pass features Era, some themed cosmetics, and two bundles of V-Bucks. Players who purchase the premium Battle Pass track will unlock the Era Outfit automatically. Unlike subsequent Battle Pass pages, the first page doesn’t have any level requirements, so players can start to claim rewards as soon as they start playing.

The introduction of another meme isn’t particularly surprising, and it fits nicely with Fortnite’s odd playable celebrity skins.

Players can grab the Timeless Era alternate Style on page thirteen of the Battle Pass. This Style comes with two slightly different versions of Era: one wearing a hat and cloak, and one without the hat and cloak that’s a bit more casual. This effectively gives players two alternate Styles for the price of one, as long as they manage to reach Levels 82 and 86.

Battle Pass Page Fourteen
Fortnite is no stranger to crossover events both big and small; the first Fortnite Chapter Four Battle Pass famously featured both the Doom Slayer and The Witcher’s Geralt of Rivia. The final page of the Fortnite Chapter Four Season Three Battle Pass introduces Optimus Prime from Transformers to Fortnite. The leader of the Autobots is just the latest of many characters from across the pop culture landscape to join Epic’s battle royale.
Players will find the Optimus Prime Outfit and extra cosmetics to complete the set. However, to get these rewards, players will have to reach Levels 90 and 94, which is no small feat.

Battle Pass Quest Rewards
Players can’t spend their Battle Stars to get Quest Rewards. Instead, they’ll need to complete set amounts of weekly quests to claim them. These quests often involve engaging with certain game mechanics, such as meeting NPCs or unlocking and using Fortnite’s Augments.
There’s a nice synergy here, as players who complete challenges will quickly level up and earn lots of Battle Stars and unlock Quest Rewards at the same time.
Weekly challenges often vary in difficulty but tend to offer lots of Battle Pass XP, so players will want to prioritize completing their weekly challenges wherever possible.

The Battle Pass also features six pages of bonus rewards. However, these can only be claimed once players have unlocked all previous Battle Pass rewards. Essentially, these rewards are for Fortnite’s most hardcore players who are willing to grind levels for vast amounts of Battle Stars. Three extra pages of bonus rewards have yet to be revealed.

Purradise Meowscles
Apart from unannounced bonus rewards, Fortnite players will also be able to claim Purradise Meowscles and eleven-themed cosmetics. Recent seasons of Fortnite have given specific characters the spotlight, allowing players to claim a big set of themed cosmetics. It’s currently unclear how players will collect the Purradise Meowscles set, but in previous seasons, players have had to complete special character-themed quest sets.
