Although Dwight is a gangster and has committed heinous crimes, he still lives by a code of honor. For example, he refused to sing Caolan Waltrip, and showed his strong sense of justice many times. Of course it's because Dwight has a strong sense of morality that he let Stacy go: he understood that he might have lost his job because of her, and he respected her as a person.. The fact that he brought the gun shows that he was very angry and hurt by his betrayal, especially considering their past relationship, but his personal behavior prevailed.
What happened to Tyson in Tulsa King Season 2
Tyson's Character Development Takes a Dark Chance
Despite Dwight's forgiveness, his meeting with Stacy had another amazing moment. After Dwight left his house, Tyson showed a rare moment of true darkness as he told Dwight that he was going to help him kill Stacy.. The moment passed quickly, and Tyson and Dwight laughed about it soon after, but it was surprising that Tyson was willing to kill a woman. This incident proved that Tyson is doubling down as a gangster, and that his criminal lifestyle is affecting him. It may also be evidence that Tulsa King Season 2 will see Tyson continue down that dark road.
How Armand Truisi's Marriage Troubles Will Affect Tulsa King Season 2
Armand could be the biggest threat to Dwight's team
Another member of Dwight's gang who made a surprising turn in the first game of Tulsa King season 2 was Armand Truisi (Max Casella). Despite the fact that Armand warms to the idea of working for Dwight in Tulsa King season 1, even looking at it as a way to take control of his life and stop running, his doubts are back. Much of that is fueled by the fact that Armand's wife left him and took his children, and now he has to pay child support and provide for Dwight. Armand is in a bad mood, and his personal problems may become problems for a few other people.
Armand is in a bad mood, and his personal problems can be problems for a few other people in Tulsa King season 2.
There are several major ways that Armand's marital problems can affect Tulsa King season 2. The most obvious was already shown in the first game of the season: Armand drinks a lot, which affects his ability to be an effective member of the gang. It got him kicked out of the benefit dinner early, and it could only get worse as the season goes on. It is also possible that Armand's problems will only compound Tulsa King season 2, and can be driven to do something rash, like trying to get rid of Dwight by working with one of his enemies, like Cal Thresher or Chickie..
Dwight's Wind Turbine Scam Explained
Is Dwight Really Going Legal?
Soon after getting out of prison, Dwight began working on his next big money-making venture: wind farms. Dwight got an idea from one of his cellmates, Harlan, who had misused federal subsidies for clean energy and wind turbines.. Dwight's plan for the wind turbines was a little confusing, though, especially since he said he wanted to start working officially. Although it's a complicated system, and Dwight put it in a nutshell, Tulsa King he revealed a few details that prove that he is not really abandoning his criminal ways.
Essentially, Dwight wants to do the same thing that Harlan did: use federal government funding to fund a wind farm. However, where the plans fall apart, is what Dwight wants to do with those grants. Instead of gambling them away, Dwight will complete the wind farm and use the remaining funding to buy free energy. He then plans to use that energy to power a hydroponic farm to run Jimmy's weed. That would improve Jimmy's farm – since hydroponic farms produce weed faster than traditional farms – and give Bodhi and Even Higher Plane much cheaper marijuana, multiplying everyone's profits..
Why Chickie Invernizzi Killed Goodie Carangi's Friend, Jerry Izzo
Chickie Killed Jerry As A Show Of Power & A Warning To Goodie
One of the last wonders of the Tulsa King season 2, episode 1 was when Chickie called Goodie to let her listen to Jerry die. Chickie's decision to kill Jerry was surprising, since earlier in the episode Jerry was helping her. That conversation also explains why Chickie killed Jerry: to show the New York mobsters that he's still the boss. Jerry had mentioned that other gangsters and crime families were losing hope in Chickie's leadership skills and even accused him of killing Pete, so Chickie killed Jerry to show that he was not to be confused.
Goodie's departure from the family was one of the reasons why the other gangsters thought Chickie couldn't handle being a mob boss, so Chickie wanted revenge on him.
Chickie had another reason for killing Jerry, however, and that was to send a personal message to Goodie. At the end of the Tulsa King season 1, Goodie betrayed Chickie and joined Dwight's gang in Tulsa. His departure from the family was one of the reasons why other criminals thought that Chickie could not be a mob boss, so Chickie wanted to answer him. Goodie and Jerry weren't the best of friends, but they were both part of a gang, and Jerry's death would likely disturb Goodie's conscience, which is exactly what Chickie wanted..
Dwight's New Enemies Explained: Who Cal Thresher and Bill Bevilaqua Are
Thresher & Bevilaqua Don't Want Dwight To Cut Into Their Profits And Locality
A big reveal of the premiere of Tulsa King season 2 was its new villains: Cal Thresher (Neal McDonough) and Bill Bevilaqua (Frank Grillo). Cal Thresher is an Oklahoma-based businessman who made his fortune from the oil industry and expanded his empire into the legal weed industry.. He is now the biggest weed distributor in Oklahoma and, as Margaret Devereaux says, “he is richer than God.” Thresher and Dwight are off to a rough start because Thresher sees Dwight and the Even Higher Plane as a threat to his business.
The second new opponent in the Tulsa King season 2, Bill Bevilaqua, is a mystery. Bill Bevilaqua is a mob boss based in Kansas City, on the border between Missouri and Kansas, about 300 miles from Tulsa.. It's not clear yet how Bevilaqua gets his money, but he has a relationship with Thresher, which is how Dwight got on his radar. Tulsa King he also revealed that Bevilaqua knew of Dwight from his days as a mobster in New York, which would mean that Bevilaqua also started his criminal career in the East.
Both Cal Thresher and Bill Bevilaqua have their reasons for facing Dwight Manfredi. Thresher sees Dwight as a threat to his profits, as his growing weed business could interfere with Thresher's operations. Bevilaqua, on the other hand, sees Dwight entering his place. Different teams tend to not mesh well, and even though Tulsa is far from Kansas City, Bevilaqua probably wants to make sure Dwight doesn't get a chance to spread his work there. And Bill Bevilaqua and Cal Thresher, all the rest Tulsa King season 2 is sure to be exciting.
