What happened to FBI agent-turned-neal Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer) White collarThe series finale and after the show ends is the true climax of his character. White collar followed Caffrey as he was released from prison for his many crimes under the guidance of FBI agent Peter Burke (Tim DeKay). Caffrey became an informal criminal in the FBI's version of the work release program. Burke was understandably nervous as Neal was known to manipulate people, but eventually shot him. The couple formed an unlikely relationship and became true friends.
Fans are excited to see Neal reunite with Peter Burke on the small screen in the upcoming revival. The USA Network series ended its six-year run in 2014 with an abbreviated season of just six episodes. At the end of the White collarNeal and Peter meet one last time, chasing the evil group known as the Pink Panthers.. However, not everything went according to plan.
How the White Column Ended
The White Column Seemed to End in Great Death
There was definitely going to be some flexibility…
After Neal and Peter team up to find out who the Pink Panthers are and capture them.the FBI has successfully caught the criminals. Some parts of their job go wrong, leading to Neal getting into a shooting spree with his blue-collar colleague, Matthew Keller (Ross McCall).
Peter was able to take down Keller, who was running away with the stolen money, by shooting him in the head, but not before he shot Neal in the chest.. When paramedics took Neal to the hospital, he was reunited with Peter, whom he calls his best friend. Later, the doctors brought bad news: Neal was dead. It had to be like that White collar it's over. Then again, it's Neal Caffrey, a man who's always been able to bring the people around him together, so there was going to be some change for fans of the show.
White Collar Ending Twist
Neal Caffrey Had One Last Hope
A year after Neal's supposed death, Peter and his wife, Elizabeth (Tiffani-Amber Thiessen), take care of their son, aptly named Neal. Peter meets Mozzie (Willie Garson) – Neal's right hand man who is back on the streets of New York scamming people with his card games. The encounter makes Peter suspicious of their fallen friend's death, prompting him to visit Neal's storage locker.
When he found the things he used to pull off his escape plan, he realized that he had been arrested by his former informant. Neal made another plan with some crisis actors, such as the EMT who attended to him and the hospital doctor who confirmed his death. To top it all off, Neal faked his death by taking medication to slow his heart rate enough to make sure all his bases were covered..
At last for real White collarNeal is seen walking the streets of Paris, France, which means he is waiting for a new job, now in Europe.. This is supported by a newspaper article Peter saw in his last post about the Louvre getting more security. Chances are Neal was learning the ins and outs of the world-renowned museum in hopes of finding one of its important exhibits.
Instead of feeling betrayed or motivated to follow Neal again, Peter just let out a smile. Although he always suspected that Neal would become a criminal again after his release, Neal had managed to do a lot of good up to that point. Peter, it is said, is happy that his former partner is alive, despite the fact that he may be dead..
I White collar the ending confirms that, despite Neal spending years living a very straight life in New York as Peter's crime reporter, deep down, he will always want to live a happy, albeit sometimes dangerous, life. His illegal endeavors seem to have nothing to do with money anymore – he just loves the thrill of pulling off these fateful plans. With Europe's rich art scene, Neal has a wide range of future prospects – it wouldn't be surprising if he travels from country to country pulling off various heists.
A White Collar Revival Could Change Neal's Fate
It Could Also Explain Neal's Leaving In The Beginning Anything that gets Neal and Peter back in each other's lives in the revival has to be big.
A White collar a revival is on the way as original show creator Jeff Eastin is writing the scripts. Original cast members Matt Bomer, Tim DeKay, and Tiffani Thiessen are confirmed to reprise their roles as Neal, Peter, and Elizabeth, respectively. Because the original series saw Neal lie about his death and escape to a new world, the revival series has a chance to change his fate.
That doesn't mean the revival series will kill Neal, but it could give the audience a reason for Neal's decision to lie about his death and leave his friends and see him go public with his decision. Although he had planned to escape the ever-watchful eye of his FBI colleagues in the past, he regretted leaving them and formed friendships with those he worked with, especially Peter.
Neal deciding to fake his death and leave the life he built behind seems both out of character for a man who pursues adventure, but also completely out of character for a man who values his friendships. Did he leave just because he was tired of working at the FBI or because he was ready to move on to a new place? And just who helped him out? Those are the questions that the revival series could answer for longtime fans of the show.
After all, Neal leaves Peter, Elizabeth, and it seems even Mozzie in the dark by deciding to lie about his death. Mozzie is someone he usually lets into his plans, and with actor Willie Garson passing away in 2021, the revival won't feature Mozzie directly, but it could explain how much he knew about Neal's plan, if anything.
Anything that gets Neal and Peter back in each other's lives in the revival has to be big. I White collar the revival will have to give Neal and Peter, as well as the audience, some sort of closure about him faking his death before diving into the new story.
