Warning! Spoilers ahead for The Flash #12!A good time between Flash and his wife and proof that their love is strong Superman and Lois Lane's relationship. Last year saw Wally West and Linda Park-West break up, but they finally reunited in a moment that will touch any fan's heart.
In The Flash #12 by Simon Spurrier, Ramón Pérez, and Vasco Georgiev, the Flash Family goes to the Speed Force to rescue the Flash while Linda is able to psychically communicate with Wally.
Linda tells her husband that she is lost after giving birth, and Abra Kadabra makes things worse by using technology to take her out of her good thoughts and feelings. But those feelings manifested as a person known as the Resident and found the Flash at his lowest ebb. The two embrace as Linda promises Flash that she will find him wherever he is.
The Flash and Linda Park-West Finally Reunited in a Time of Sorrow
The entire Flash Family has worked after being guided by the Arc Angles. As part of a plot to isolate Wally West and frame him, the Arc Angles recruited Abra Kadabra and gave him the technology to change Linda's mind. Soon after the birth of her and Wally's son Wade, Linda became cold and distant. This wasn't just postpartum depression as Kadabra kept playing the waves to change Linda's mood. While Kadabra works for Linda, Arc Angles turned Flash into a gallery of momentsthey drain his mind and make him their perfect weapon.
Whenever Wally was at the Gallery, he began to lose touch with his friends and family. But the Resident stayed by his side, urging Wally to never forget those who love him. The revelation that the Resident was a physical manifestation of Linda's love and positive feelings for Wally is great. All along, it seemed like Flash and Linda were at one of their lowest moments. But they were always together and Linda never let Wally suffer alone. This time is as good as any time in the history of Superman and Lois Lane.
Flash and Linda have exactly what Superman and Lois have
It's hard to compare a relationship, especially one as perfect and beautiful as Clark and Lois'. But Wally and Linda have been through a lot as these two have faced each other and nothing has been able to end their love. Not death, not a reboot of the universe, and not even a conspiracy orchestrated by mysterious beings. Flash and his wife's love is strong enough to withstand anything and that is hard to find in comic books. Superman and Lois may have a very famous relationship but don't doubt that for a second Flash and Linda's is strong.
The Flash #12 is available now from DC Comics.
