Warning! This post contains SPOILERS for Transformers One
Although Transformers One features many upcoming Autobots and Decepticons, some notable bots that were absent from the new animated movie. Since the focus is on the origins of Optimus Prime and Megatron, it makes sense that not every single bot will be featured in this prequel film. That being said, there are a good number of Transformers that would be very exciting to see in future installments.
Transformers One’s the cast mainly focuses on Orion Pax/Optimus Prime (Chris Hemsworth), D-16/Megatron (Brian Tyree Henry), Elita-1 (Scarlertt Johansson), and B-127 (Keegan-Michael Kee). However, some classic Transformers were involved in the previous film such as Sentinel Prime, Airachnid, Starscream, Soundwave, and Shockwave. There are also many cameo appearances from the likes of Ironhide, Jazz, Cliffjumper, and more. That means, here are 10 different Autobots and Decepticons that aren’t in it Transformers One that would be great to see in sequence.
10
Ratchet
Transformers One Enters His Name
After their brave entry into the Iacon 5000 despite not having any change cogs, Orion Pax and D-16 ended up in the hospital after almost winning the race together. Just before they meet Jon Hamm’s Sentinel Prime, the intercom can be heard calling for Ratchet. A former member of the Autobots, Ratchet is a field doctor who eventually transforms into an ambulance on Earth.
Ratchet was also a notable member of the Autobots in the live action Transformers movies. However, he meets a tragic death at the hands of Lockdown and the CIA apparently Years of Extinction. While Ratchet is off screen Transformers Oneit makes sense that he might appear in between Transformers One’s guaranteed sequel.

Ultra Magnus
Loyal Soldier and Brother to Optimus Prime
Ultra Magnus was the brave commander of the Autobots, and was considered Optimus Prime’s battle brother during the Autobots’ war with the Decepticons. Self-proclaimed a loyal soldier, Magnus often shies away from the responsibility of senior leadership. How do you see it? Transformers One ends with the battle lines being drawn between the newly formed Autobots and the Decepticons, it would make sense if Ultra Magnus is maybe saved for another sequel when the war with the Decepticons begins in earnest.

Grimlock & The Dinobots
Autobots have attitude
One of the most challenging teams among the ranks of the Autobots, Dinobots take the form of prehistoric dinosaurs Transformers to continue. In some continuity, they even take the form of dinosaurs before the Autobots arrive on Earth. It was in the timeline of War of Cybertron a game franchise in which the Decepticon Shockwave is piloted, using dinosaurs as a model to transform Grimlock’s Lightning Strike Coalition Force into mindless monsters.
Authority that always challenges, the Dinobots are a successful but often unruly group led by Grimlock, a bot said to rival the powers of both Optimus Prime and Megatron.. Basically, Gimlock believes that Optimus Prime is weak and struggles to make the tough decisions that need to be made, no matter how compromising. Therefore, it would be very exciting to see this villainous group of Autobots start with a Transformers One a sequel, perhaps with Grimlock starting as a rival among the Prime ranks.

Builders
Assembling In Devastator
Collectively known as the Constructicons, this small group of Megatron’s forces usually consists of Scrapper, Bonecrusher, Scavenger, Long Haul, Mixmaster, and Hook.. However, sometimes there are additional Constructicons that are part of this group. Regardless, the true power of the Constructicons is their ability to combine and transform into a massive Devastator. While none of the usually green and purple bots were seen in it Transformers Onethey’ll certainly be a fun way to up the ante when Megatron is ready to beat Iacon.
Live-action Constructicons were also seen in the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Set near the pyramids of Giza, Devastator was actually one of the biggest shows of the movie. Therefore, one can assume that the same is possible in the confirmed sequence Transformers One. Other Constructicons members include the Gravedigger, Hauler, Erector, Hightower, Scoop, Buckethead, Quickmix, Wideload, Steam Hammer, and Scavenger, all of whom naturally take some kind of construction vehicle when the Transformers come to Earth.
6
Madness
Servant of Soundwave
In Transformers OneSoundwave was cast as a key member of Iacon’s High Guard, a force that would eventually serve Megatron and become known as the Decepticons. That said, Soundwave does not transform into his old stereo form in the animated movie. Likewise, his mini-tape fans who often get off his chest in the original series don’t appear in it Transformers One or.
While Soundwave often has these small agents in his work, one of the most popular is Frenzy who played an important role in the very first game Transformers by director Michael Bay. Working closely with Barricade, Frenzy infiltrates Air Force One and helps the Decepticons infiltrate various global networks looking for Megatron. So, maybe Frenzy can make up for his absence Transformers One in following up.
5
Lazerbeak
Soundwave’s winged agent
Another mini-cassette minion of Soundwave’s, Lazerbeak is a bird-like pet in the area Transformers the whole place. Also missing from Transformers OneLazerbeak would be another very exciting addition that would make Soundwave himself even more prominent in the sequel. Likewise, Lazerbeak made his live-action debut Transformers: Dark of the Moonhaving been tasked by Soundwave to kill various people who had aided the Decepticons in the past.
4
Harassment
Soundwave’s Four Legged Spy
Ravage is another well-known mini-cassette minion of Soundwave next to Frenzy and Lazerbeak (although Soundwave has more). Having the form of a panther, Ravage is extremely loyal to both Soundwave and Megatron and is a master of trickery. He also made his live-action debut Revenge of the Fallenwho played a key role in resurrecting Megatron from his death in the first film. With any luck, the next appearance could make up for his absence Transformers One.
3
The Great Omega
The Autobot’s Last Line of Defense
One of the greatest Autobots ever, Omega Supreme was the last guardian tasked with protecting the Crystal City of Cyberton and Iacon. He served as the last line of defense when all other strategies failed. After playing a prominent role in War of Cybertron video game series and sequels, some might have hoped to see a giant bot in this new prequel film. However, perhaps the Omega Supreme will be revealed in its sequel Transformers One now that the war between the Autobots and Decepticons has begun in earnest.
2
Trypcon
Massive Bot (Hate Both Sides)
Trypticon is another giant Transformer that can destroy entire cities. Although Trypticon is the main weapon used by Megatron and the Decepticons, that doesn’t mean he’s a loyal Decepticon himself. In fact, Trypticon’s main job is to hate everything and everyone and destroy his goals, and only the Decepticons can control him.
So, one can only imagine how impressive it would have been to see Trypticon take on Omega Supreme in a full-length feature film. Now that the Decepticons were born they followed Transformers Onemaybe it’s only a matter of time before Trypticon is discovered and tamed. It would be quite a battle for the Autobots to have to protect Iacon from such a flamboyant bot.
1
Unicron
God of Chaos
Basically the villain of all Transformers villains, no one should have expected to have seen Unicron Transformers One, especially after being the world-devouring god of chaos that was recently revealed in live action Animal Awakening. However, it is worth noting that Unicron is as old as Cyberton itself, having been created as the dark twin of Primus. So, it would have been fun to see some kind of reference or Easter egg in the animated movie.
To that end, Unicron probably won’t appear in this new continuity until much later, and probably won’t have a confirmed sequel. That said, it’s not hard to imagine Unicron possibly serving as the main villain in a potential third movie, perhaps transforming Megatron into Galvatron like he did in the animated original. Transformers movie from 1986. Unicron could be the reason why Optimus Prime and Megaton are maybe reunited as brothers in this new Transformers timeline (though that’s just speculation).
Transformers One now playing in theaters.
