This could easily be seen as a filler chapter, but at many points, Damian talks about not wanting to go back homei.e. without starting to get the Stella Star, but even at the end, when he wishes to go to the Berlint restaurant instead of eating at home.
Damian's desire not to go home in chapter #104 talks about his family avoiding him, pointing out Spy x Family dark undertones.
