Just because players can't aim doesn't mean they can't get into other ones Fallout 4 playing with guns in the Commonwealth. Of course, there's always the option of using a melee build with all the tricky weapons available in Sole Survivor, but running into Deathclaw with a pipe wrench isn't always the most appealing option. Thankfully, for those who don't play a lot of FPS games and can't aim very well, Bethesda offers VATS (Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System) It falls players to make even the worst gun next to deadly and accurate killers.
The nice thing about it VATS is an in-game program provided by Pip-Boyand is considered the most advanced, yet most lost technology created by Vault-Tec. Although the players will never say it, some enemies are able to use VATS, such as the third generation Synth having the same technology in their brains thanks to the Institute. As for the player, VATS uses AP (which is also a Stamina stat) in its attacks, and a certain part from a friend can make AP regeneration much better.
Trigger Rush is Fully Powered by VATS
And The Explanation Is Wrong
Each friend in the Fallout 4 it has a Companion Perk that players can unlock and take advantage of as long as they spend enough time with that companion. Cait, a tough cage fighter with an Irish accent, has a great Companion Perk for those who like to use VATS. It's called Trigger Rush and its description says it regenerates AP 25% faster when Sole Survivor is below 25% health. On paper, this sounds silly, but thankfully, this is not what the perk does, for a reason known only to Bethesda.
In fact, the Trigger Rush perk allows players to regenerate AP 50% faster when their AP is below 25%. Since VATS uses AP to burst and this perk allows it to regenerate very quickly, it means spamming VATS on cards if players want to keep Cait around. Pair this Companion Perk with the Action Boy/Girl perk, and AP will regenerate so quickly that players may not need to aim again, especially if they use the VATS layout.
Melee is also an option with VATS, and the more a player uses this system, the more they can use their critical hits to deal even more damage. Enemies are slowed while using VATS, and although they can still hit Sole Survivor in this state.there is not much they can do to protect themselves. With Trigger Rush's AP regeneration upgrade, players can clear a room before anyone knows what hit them, even without being able to aim very well.
Making VATS Strong Takes Some Work
But Trigger Rush is Required for VATS Buildings
Yes, players will need to unlock Companion Perks to use them. This will do they need to develop their relationship with Cait to the point of nurturing it. To do this, the Lone Survivor must complete his own quest, called Benign Intervention, which involves curing him of his Chem addiction. During this process, players also have the option to fall in love with a friend, but this is not necessary to increase his compatibility and get a perk.
Although players will need to spend a good amount of time with Cait to get her bounty, once they have it they don't need to hang out with her anymore. THis is perfect for the Lone Wanderer who still wants to take advantage of the packor someone who just likes someone else's company. It's hard to beat Dogmeat, after all, since the lovable pooch won't judge you like everyone else and the Lone Wanderer perk will still work with him.
Finally, when it comes to improving VATS construction for those who can't target it properly, improving AP and its renewal is important. Being able to use it as much as possible does accordingly OP in Fallout 4 and Cait's Trigger Rush is amazing for thisalthough its meaning says otherwise. It makes Cait a must-have in the VATS lineup, at least for a while until Lone Survivor can help her solve her Chem addiction and increase her relevance.
