In the image, the other members of the Cooper family, residing in Texas, spend part of the Thanksgiving holiday with George, as this will be their first holiday without him. Why Sheldon Isn’t Part of Cooper’s Reunion From Georgie and Mandy’s First Wedding

Thanksgiving would have been the perfect opportunity to bring Sheldon back

Interestingly, Young Sheldon there really weren’t many themed episodes. So Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage’s upcoming Thanksgiving special is a thrilling ride, especially since it brings back several fan-favorite characters from The Big Bang Theory prequel. That said, Sheldon is absent from the outing and there are no indications that he would be a part of it. For context, Sheldon moved to California about a month after George died in Young Sheldonwhich would explain why he hasn’t appeared in the sequel spinoff yet. He’s been referenced a few times, but that’s the extent of his involvement.

Despite this explanation, however, Thanksgiving, being the biggest holiday in the country, would have been the perfect opportunity to bring Sheldon back to Texas. This would be his first vacation away from his family and although he claims that life is better if he is alone Young Sheldon has demonstrated many times that he truly craves companionship. Since Georgie and Mandy’s first wedding have to be more creative to introduce SheldonIt’s strange that Chuck Lorre and his writers didn’t take the opportunity to do a proper reunion of the Cooper family with the boy genius.

Our Take on Georgie and Mandy’s First Wedding Thanksgiving Episode with the Coopers

It’s curious what role the McAllisters will play in the episode

With just four episodes, Georgie and Mandy’s first wedding is still in the initial process of establishing itself. Technically, there is there were only two outings purely focused on Georgie and Mandy’s new life living with the McAllisters. Both were solid, serviceable stories in terms of endearing the new cast to audiences. That said, seeing the Coopers again for a holiday special is a great take on the fall finale. It’s curious, though, how much of “Thanksgiving” will be focused on George’s family, since Mandy’s parents and brother will also be involved.
