The series stars Tahir Raj Bhasin as Vikrant Singh Chauhan, a man living a dangerous life in India who was forced to marry the daughter of a crime lord named Akheraj (Saurabh Shukla).

The series plays with many of the familiar tropes viewers have come to expect from Tollywood and Bollywood productions and restructures them into something unique and entertaining. Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankheim The first season ended with Vikrant hiring a mercenary to kill his wife, Purva (Anchal Singh), only for the mercenary to betray Vikrant to kidnap Purva and threaten to reveal Vikrant's duplicity to Purva and Akheraj unless Vikrant pays a huge ransom. At the end of season 2, Akheraj is still unaware that his son-in-law is responsible for his daughter's kidnapping and continues to work with Vikrant to free Purva from her kidnappers: Jalan (Arunnoday Singh) and Sherpa (Varun Badola). Vikrant wants to be with his true love Shikha (Shweta Tripathi), but Akheraj will kill Vikrant if he finds out that Vikrant set up Purva. So, Vikrant must convince Akheraj to pay the ransom for Purva so that Sherpa stays quiet. However, Akheraj turns to an old friend and Purva's former lover, Guru (Gurmeet Choudhary), for help.

Guru discovers Vikrant's involvement in the kidnapping, but still doesn't know how Shikha influences it. Guru almost manages to rescue Purva, but Vikrant's meddling stops him. Out of options, and with an angry Jalan threatening to cause bodily harm to Purva, Akheraj gives up on the kidnappers and agrees to pay the kidnappers to take his daughter home safely. Everything goes according to Vikrant's plans.

Purva has other ideas, however, and decides that she will no longer wait for her father's help to escape capture. Unbeknownst to Shepra and Jalan, Purva is a competent martial artist. She uses her fighting skills to escape the compound, shooting Jalan and Sherpa's men as she goes. Guru then arrives just in time to pick her up. As they run away from the bandits chasing them, Purva falls off a cliff, but at the last second, she was saved by Vikrant, a surprise as this would be the perfect opportunity for Vikrant to get rid of Purva for good.

Everything that happened in Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein it was because of Vikrant's desire to kill his wife so he could be with his true love, Shikha. Still, he saves Purva just when he has an excuse to kill her. The difference could be a revelation about Purva at the beginning of the season. A doctor announces that Purva is pregnant with Vikrant's child, news that greatly upsets Shikha. Vikrant may be willing to kill his wife, but murdering the mother of his child seems like a step too far.

Shikha and Purva find themselves in a tense confrontation

Purva blames Shikha for killing her friend

Shikha and Purva's stories come together at the end of Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein 2nd season, when the two rivals face each other. The vitriol mostly extends from Purva's side, as she sees Shikha as the reason why Vikrant never truly loved her, and getting rid of her will force Vikrant to have eyes only for Purva. Furthermore, Purva blames Shikha for the death of Dharmesh (Surya Sharma), Akheraj's adopted henchman and Purva's close friend.

The two women face each other in front of an inn at the end of the Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein season 2 finale. They face each other, but before anything else is revealed, the scene is cut, leaving a big scare for the third season. Purva and Shikha have been circling each other for two seasons and Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein season 3 should finally reveal who emerges victorious when the two meet.

Purva's mother may still be alive

Sherpa could be Purva's real father

There was another shocking revelation that occurred at the end of Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein season 2. At the beginning of the season, Purva is told that her mother died years ago after sacrificing herself to save her daughter from armed men chasing them. Although Purva does not remember her mother well, she has always hoped that she had somehow survived the tragic events of her childhood. This confirmation is a blow to Purva, who is already struggling to maintain hope while under the care of Jalan and Sherpa.

However, at the end of season 2, Sherpa reveals he had a hidden agenda to kidnap Purva. He wants to reunite her with her mother, who he reveals is alive. Unfortunately, Purva's mother suffers from a terminal illness and doesn't have much time left. It is unclear how Sherpa is related to Purva's mother, and it is possible, considering his age, that he is actually Purva's biological father. Whatever the relationship, Sherpa proves that he has been looking out for Purva all along.

Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein Season 2 Finale Time Jump

Purva and Vikrant seem to have put aside their differences

The end of Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein Season 2 doesn't stop with Vikrant rescuing Purva. Instead, the original Hindi drama jumps to an indeterminate period of time in the future. Vikrant is in an unknown location, shooting at an army of men approaching him. He is hit by a bullet and passes out. The camera pans to show a fainted but alive Purva who is still pregnant. The couple reaches out and holds hands as they share a look and season 2 ends.

From the looks of it, Vikrant chose Purva over Shikha. Maybe she and Vikrant ran away from Purva's father and he sent his men after them. Vikrant went through a lot to get rid of Purva and be with Shikha, so it would be a shock if this stinger suggested he fell in love with Purva. It's possible that Shikha is also in hiding and Vikrant is just doing right by his family by protecting everyone, including Shikha, from people who would try to destroy them. This is for Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein Season 3 to reveal.
