You can get the field research tasks By spinning PokéStops or Gym Discs during the eventWith each one that you spin you are given a new task to complete.

There are five Pokemon that have increased spawn rates during the event. This includes Gen 1 favorite Ground-Type Cubone, as well as both versions, normal and Galarian, of the Zigzagoon from Gen 3.
