The last Research Day is scheduled to take place in Pokemon GO presenting the Pokémon Yamask from Generation 5 and its Galarian regional variant. One of the regular events in Pokemon GO Alongside Spotlight Hours are Research Days that feature a particular Pokémon. Typically, Field Research tasks offer a variety of rewards, including Pokémon spawns or useful items. However, on Research Days, all rewards are generated by featured Pokémon.
Yamask is a scary Ghost-type Pokémon this is worth coaches trying to capture. Galarian Yamask is even more valuable, especially for those who participate in PvP battles. Its evolved form, Runerigus, is a great option for both the Great League, which means you should try to capture as strong a version as possible during research day.

Individual tasks require players to complete challenges, such as catching a certain number of Pokémon or spinning a certain number of PokéStops. Once you complete one, you will be rewarded with the opportunity to capture Yamask or Galarian Yamask.
