A new preview for Invisible X-Men #2 Shows the outliers – the last group of X-Men Students – using their incredible abilities for the first time, As they attacked the heroic team from seemingly nowhere. Rogue and her teammates will first need to defeat the Outliers in an explosive battle before they can begin training them… and find out which of them could be the dangerous Endling.
The ragtag group of young mutants calling themselves the Outliers – comprised of Jitter, Calico, Ransom and Deathdream – are chased by a mysterious threat, seek the help of the uncomfortable X-Men at the end of Invisible X-Men #1, but now saw assault the team.

The outliers all have fantastic mutant abilities
The X-Men will need to first defeat the Outlier before they can train them
Gail Simone is setting up a most terrifying villain in her Invisible X-Men Run, as the prophesied “The Endling” emerges and threatens to eradicate the entire mutant race, right after the brutal fall of Krakoa. Both Sadurang and Harvey X hint that one of the new Outliers is actually the Endling, and while the ghost-summoning Deathdream seems like an easy choice, the X-Men know The true ending will be a character no one expects. Besides Deathdream, the other outliers are Calico, who possesses a strong psychic connection with her horse Ember, and Ransom, who reveals a black hole for a heart when his X-gene is activated. Jitter is rounding out the new Young Mutants, whose “hyperfocus” ability is a blend of the abilities of Taskmaster and Prodigy.

So far, the Outliers’ powers haven’t been seen in action, but their fighting skills and intriguing abilities will finally be on full display in Invisible X-Men #2. Facing down in the swamps of Louisiana, Rogue, Gambit and Wolverine must fight the Outliers After a very deep and emotional meeting with the dying Harvey X. The preview reveals the first transformation of Becca Constance Simon-Pinette – Calico – whose psychic connection with her horse Ember allows her to manifest new horse forms, like the Young Mutant Brutal Attacks Rogue. At the same time, Gambit is confronted and kicked by Sofia Yong – Jitter – whose unique-looking power signature jumps off the page. Finally, the terrifying Hotoru – Deathdream – assaults Wolverine with the horrifying power of the undead.
The X-Men’s New Mutants aren’t the only New Mutant students
Exceptional X-Men will also debut three powerful new mutants
The last one from the ashes Era of the X-Men follows the fall of Krakoa, where scores of mutants were left behind – or chose to stay – on Krakoa in the White Hot Place. Now, multiple X-Men comics are introducing new mutants, including Eve Ewing Exceptional X-Men. Joining Calico, Jitter, Ransom and Deathdream as the X-Men’s newest recruits are Bronze, Melee and Axo. Interestingly, the preview for Invisible X-Men #2 does not show Ransom, the new mutant whose heart houses a black hole, battling Rogue’s X-Men. Ransom, whose costume is absolutely awesome, could be the leader of the team – holding back the battle because he has a level head – or his ability could be so dangerous that he doesn’t feel comfortable unleashing it.
