Jimmy Hudson was originally from the old Ultimate Marvel universe, Earth-1610. However, during the raid, Jimmy and his Ultimate X-Men compatriots became trapped on Earth-616. Some time later, during the Venomverse saga, a kind of extradimensional monstrosities called Poisons invaded Earth-616 in search of the species’ final prey, the symbiotes. Poison Hive’s purpose was force symbiotic bond to then assimilate the symbiote and host into the Poison collective. While protecting his fellow mutants, Jimmy was infected by a poisonous symbiote. After the death of the Hive queen, Jimmy’s Poison remained attached, constantly fighting to control his body.
Although Venom is able to move within Jimmy’s human body, its symbiotic form is a totally unique monster. The poison’s body increases in size, enlarging its body to a hardened shell-like state. In this edition of Poison War: Deadpool, The poison falls into a wild and frantic ragetargeting both friends and enemies. While attacking all moving targets around him, Poison lethally tears off a large chunk of flesh from Deadpool’s symbiote pet Princess. Normally, the Princess would be able to regenerate that part of her body, but because of The predatory dominance of venom over symbiontsthe alien “dog” falls to the ground, calling out to Deadpool. Fortunately for Princess, she is able to bond with Deadpool and use his advanced healing factor as her own.

event, Jimmy Hudson fell off Marvel’s radar. Although Logan has spent the last decade reconnecting with his many children, Jimmy has traditionally been excluded from the group. That said, his resurgence in the Poison War suddenly elevated the alternate reality outcast to a potential threat to be explored later. Supposedly the last member of Poison’s Hive, son of Wolverine could prove to be a permanent fixture in Marvel’s future symbiotic stories.
