Except for a few miniseries, all of Taylor Sheridan’s series have returned for at least a second season and Landman has all the ingredients for the producer/writer/director/actor’s next big hit.

Even though Taylor Sheridan has had a magical touch in recent years, Landman has not yet scheduled a renewal for a second season. This shouldn’t be too surprising considering how new the series is, and There’s no reason to think Paramount+ won’t want more episodes in the future. Except for a few miniseries, all of Taylor Sheridan’s series have returned for at least a second season and Landman has all the ingredients for the producer/writer/director/actor’s next big hit. With yellow stone disappearing, Landman can fill that void.

It will all depend on how the viewing figures perform throughout the show’s run, and single ratings won’t be enough to guarantee more episodes. If fans stick around for the entire first season, there’s a good chance Paramount+ will order another season. King of Tulsa, 1923and Lioness all scored sophomore seasons, and Landman should join them once the first season ends.

With yellow stone riding off into the sunset, even as your franchise expands, it’s important to note that Landman is not part of yellow stone universe. Although it covers many of the same themes as yellow stone, Landman is not connected, nor is it intended to be a replacement. The Dutton family has nothing to do with Landmanthe story, and even taken from a podcast series based on real events. This means that Landman have a chance to leave yellow stoneshadow and establish himself as an independent success.

Will Billy Bob Thornton and the cast return?

Predicting the cast of Landman the second season is not particularly difficult, as the oil drama will need to bring back its ensemble to tell a compelling, ongoing story. While deaths are always a possibility in the world of Taylor Sheridan’s shows, it’s highly likely that the main cast will be back to reprise their roles. This means that Billy Bob Thornton should once again play crisis-ridden oil company executive Tommy Norris. Playing his role is Jon Hamm as oil executive Monty Miller, and their dynamic only began in the first season.

Meanwhile, big stars like Ali Larter (who plays Tommy’s wife Angela) will also be back, as will Demi Moore as Tommy’s personal friend Cami, who is also Monty’s wife. The supporting cast is a little less certain, but one thing that makes Sheridan’s shows so compelling is the plethora of stories surrounding the main conflict. Expect to see figures like Andy García’s Galino, Paulina Chavez’s Ariana, and Jacob Lofland’s Cooper Norris also return in season two.

Things will only get more tense

The oilfield disaster kicked off the show, and the repercussions of that event will likely continue to return again and again throughout the entire season.

With the outcome of Season 1 still unknown, the door is open for story possibilities in Landman season 2. However, there are some interesting threads that probably won’t be resolved in just one season. The oil field disaster kicked off the show, and the repercussions of that event will likely continue to return again and again throughout the entire season. About that, tensions between Tommy and Monty will continue to riseand both will have to deal with their own family problems.

Tommy’s control over his children is loosening, and Ainsley’s rebellious attitude is clearly just the beginning of a family feud. On a more positive note, the blossoming relationship between Cooper and Ariana is one of the series’ early bright spots, and things probably won’t go well for them in the long run. If Landman To deliver on its promises, the show will also feature more political intrigue as well as the environmental aspects of the oil industry.

Landman is a drama series created and written by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace. Based on the podcast series expanding city, Landman follows the wealthy oil tycoons and workers involved in the Texas oil industry, comparing and contrasting their lives while exploring the politics between the two.
