While subsequent seasons of the show extended the focus to the ancestors of the rest of the Outer Banks The Cameron family is given a lot of attention because Ward Cameron is the villain of the show.
When Ward Cameron died at the end of The Outer Banks season 3, season 4 features Rafe and Sarah’s distant relationship, echoing the family’s twisted and fractured relationship. The fact that Ward and Rafe tried to kill Sarah in the past made it almost impossible for a reconciliation to be in the cards. The Outer Banks Teaser for part 2 of season 4 suggests otherwise, showing Rafe working closely with the Pogues as a self-proclaimed ally. As it stands, it’s worth wondering why Wheezie hasn’t been around.

Season 4 of Outer Banks Rose suggests taking a whiz and running away from town because she believes Sarah killed her father. This is revealed in a phone conversation between the teen and her stepmother. Sarah’s side of the call reveals that Rose thinks she killed Ward and refuses to let her make contact with Wheezie. Early in the season, Rafe also expresses that Sarah killed his dad. Whether Sarah’s little sister believes this remains unknown, how Wheezie is completely missing from season 4, part 2 of Outer Banks.

Despite being a Cameron, Wheezie has never played a key role in Outer Banks. Like the little sister, she is often manipulated and lied about what is going on. Maybe she doesn’t know what made Rose separate her from her sister. however, Wisey demonstrated a true loyalty to SarahAnd a talent for getting information because of all those who underestimated her. Because of this, it wouldn’t come as a surprise that she would come to play a part in a future storyline of Outer Banks Season 4. Especially now that Rafe expressed his intentions to get his family back together.

Even though Rafe and Weezy got along well, his main objective was always to be close to his father. With Ward gone, it makes sense that Rafe didn’t try to keep Rose and Vision in the Outer Banks. He and his stepmother never showed up, and she doesn’t leave him to protect them. But in a shocking twist, Season 4 Episode 1 ending introduces Rafe’s desire to redeem himselfContinuing his complex character arc in the show. Drew Starkey’s character seems haunted by his past actions and confesses his determination to bring the family together, starting with making amends with Sarah.
Because of their violent history, it’s unlikely that Rafe alone could convince Sarah to trust him – that’s where his little sister could come in.
Wheezie may not have been a key character in the last seasons of Outer BanksBut the show’s heavy focus on the Cameron family’s reconciliation suggests she may still have a role to play. Wheezie could be the one to replace WardHow he kept Raph and Sarah connected. Perhaps season 4 is too soon to see the family together again, but season 5 of Outer Banks Could definitely see it happening. Sarah clearly wants to be close to her sister, and past seasons of Outer Banks Suggest the feeling is mutual. The last time Sarah and Wheezy got together was at the end of season 2, when Rose dragged Sarah and took her on a ship to Guadeloupe. Back then, Weezy was very happy the family was back together and off to live on an island of their own. If Rafe is serious about getting the Camerons back together, Wisely will definitely return, perhaps with a bigger role than before.
