Warning: Contains SPOILERS for Rings of Power Season 2The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power is now offering viewers multiple versions of Sauron, and season three has more to offer. Rings of Power The Season 1 finale put an end to Sauron’s mystery box of identity, and the Season 2 finale did the same with Gandalf, so Season 3 seems certain to eventually reveal the identity of the mysterious Dark Wizard. But in the meantime, season three will be about Sauron, who forged the One Ring and left his deception in Eregion, surviving the fall of the city with just a few well-placed words of discontent.
Sauron used his superior form in Eregion to manipulate Celebrimbor into helping him forge the Rings of Power, demonstrating perhaps the most faithful adaptation of the series. Taken straight from the pages of high fantasy genius J. R. R. Tolkien. The SilmarillionSauron’s form in Annatar was as close to a literal adaptation as possible, given that Tolkien did not specify details such as hair color and length. Season 3 will see Annatar make way for new storylines that will open up Sauron’s storyline to different forms and different personalities.

Rings of Power In the season two finale, Sauron collected the nine Man Rings from Galadriel despite failing to obtain Nenya from her, leaving him finished with forging and free to leave his Annatar identity behind. By successfully manipulating Adar into attacking Eregion on his behalf, Sauron destabilized both Adar, his forces, and Eregion, weakening both of his enemies. This means that he has no reason to stay in Eregion, and in fact he must find Mount Doom at some point in order to forge the One Ring. WITH Sauron can change form at will.it could take any form.

According to the legends, Sauron eventually lost the ability to assume a fair form, but in the series he has not yet reached this point. In his fine form, Sauron had just regained control of the orcs at the end of the second season, but they didn’t seem too keen on bullying him so quickly. Sauron was also capable of controlling the War of Wrath, seemingly in his previous red-haired elven form. – played by Jack Lowden. Although, characteristically, this form did not last long. Sauron May Have to Manipulate Pharazon in Season 3
Sauron may well take the form of the Dark Lord V Rings of Power Season 3, but if he moves forward with his storyline in Numenor, he could also take a different form. In the form of Halbrand, Sauron was shipwrecked in the middle of the Shattering Seas. In many ways, this was luck for him, leading to an advantageous meeting with Galadriel. Moreover, this led to him being rescued by Elendil’s ship and carried to Númenor. This did not happen in canon, but according to the logic of the series, this causes Sauron to fear the power of Númenor.

Sauron’s Annatar form was very similar to his Halbrand form, both played by Charlie Vickers. Also, Sauron will not have to hide his abilities from Pharazon.who knows from the very beginning that it is him. Thus, Sauron may well have retained his Annatar form in Númenor.
