Netflix Continue was shockingly divisive in the days following its release, as most critics apparently liked the film, while audiences (ironically) were more critical of it. The action thriller directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and written by TJ Fixman follows Taron Egerton's Ethan Kopek, a TSA officer working Christmas Eve at LAX. When he pushes for a promotion (aka supervising a baggage scanning lane), Ethan is unwittingly drawn into a terrorist conspiracy. Jason Bateman plays the villain in Continuewho blackmails Ethan into letting a mysterious bag pass through the scanner without raising any red flags.
As Continue continues, Ethan uncovers more details about Bateman's character's plans and attempts to be the hero. Based on its premise (a man tasked with stopping a terrorist threat on Christmas Eve), many compared Continue to Die Hardwhich is considered one of the best action films of all time. However, the 2024 Netflix movie caused a lot more debate about its quality what Die Hard already done

Why Carry-On Only Has a 59% Rating on Rotten Tomatoes
Many are upset about the holes in the film's plot
Netflix Continue it reached the top of the streaming service's charts upon its release. However, just because it's popular doesn't mean most viewers love the film. Instead of, ContinuePopcornmeter (based on audience reviews) on Rotten tomatoes stands at 59 percent, falling short of being considered “Fresh”. Evidently, the general public didn't like the action thriller as much as the critics did.
Based on comments on the review aggregate site, many spectators gave Continue a poor score because of its plot flaws and unrealistic story. The film lacked logic for some, which frustrated them, ruining the watching experience. Others condemned Continue for the performances of the cast, writing, direction and much more. Critics and public are right about carry-on luggage
Carry-on luggage is fun, regardless of the negatives
Viewers are right when they say that Continue It has several plot holes and is implausible. However, that doesn't inherently make it a bad film. As many critics have pointed out, Netflix's (Christmas) 2024 action thriller is self-aware. Continue knows that not everything in the story makes sense, which explains why the film often highlights its characters and their unimaginable choices rather than all the technical details that drive the plot. Ultimately, the positives outweigh the negatives at the end of the Continuea silly movie made to be fun rather than having a 100% accurate script.
