No, it’s not a big mistake. I understand that there was quite a bit of hate thrown at it before the show even released, but it didn’t cause the low viewership. It started off well enough, not the best but definitely not the worst. Numbers continuously declined through the series, meaning many people tried to watch it, but stopped after a few episodes. This means that they don’t enjoy it, and aren’t willing to give it time to get better, which it hasn’t done anyway. There are also many like me who are die-hard fans who watched it, even though it wasn’t that good, but have no desire to see a second season. Viewership would be even lower.
