The sequel to WandaVision Catch up with Agatha Harkness still imprisoned in her Agnes persona under Wanda’s spell. However, Wanda’s death in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Could have shifted the boundaries of the spell, which Agatha first experiences when investigating an unidentified body. When she finally realizes that it is Wanda’s dead body, Agatha starts to regain her memory of her past life.

Many clues were dropped throughout episode 1 about the true identity of the corpse, so it didn’t come as a surprise. The biggest mystery is how Wanda’s corpse got to Westview in the first place. Wanda entered Multiverse of Madness By bringing down Mount Wundagore so that the Darkhold would be destroyed for good. Mount Wundagore was in Eastern Europe, while Westview is a town in New Jersey. Wanda’s corpse suddenly appearing in Westview makes little to no senseBut there is actually a pretty simple explanation for this mystery.

Wanda Maximoff’s dead body is part of Agatha’s illusion

The most logical theory is that Wanda’s corpse was not actually in Westview and that it was simply part of Agatha’s illusion.. Just like the hex Wanda unknowingly performed during WandaVisionHer updated spell for Agatha’s Punishment has the witch acting as a character in a TV show. With these delusions, Agatha is prone to imagining things that aren’t really true. This probably includes the corpse she investigates at the beginning of episode 1 because there’s really no logical reason why Wanda’s corpse would suddenly appear, especially since Agatha all along Takes place years later Multiverse of Madness.

These hints both imply that Wanda’s body is not physically in WestviewInstead it is a product of Agatha readying it in her delusion. The entire first episode of Agatha all along Plays out like a figment of Agatha’s imagination, so she probably brought in Wanda’s corpse to fit her story.

Where is Wanda Maximoff’s body?

Scarlet Witch Dreamwalking Above Light in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Wanda’s body will still be buried under the rubble of Mount Wundagar.. The mountain was not an accessible place in the beginning, because it was surrounded by dark sorcerers, so no ordinary person should accidentally attack the wreck and Wanda’s body. There is no reason to believe it was physically moved, and witnesses like Doctor Strange and America Chavez wouldn’t have a reason to. Agatha has been trapped in Westview since the end of WandaVisionSo there’s no way she did that either.

There is a small chance that Wanda’s corpse was moved by magic. Aubrey Plaza’s Rio Vidal makes a reference to how Wanda’s body “magically” appeared in Westview, which could be intentional wordplay and potentially even a hint at Rio’s own involvement. However, the fact that Wanda’s corpse does not physically reappear after Agatha breaks out of the spell is pretty concrete evidence that All this was only part of Agatha’s illusions. Even if Wanda’s body was nowhere near Westview, the thought of it had already done enough to catalyze the events of Agatha all along.
