Why I Think Mason Prefers Scott to Kourtney (And How Things Changed So Much)

Kardashian star Mason Disick is drifting away from his mother, Kourtney Kardashian, and favoring his father, Scott Disick, and I believe I know why this is happening. I revealed the secrets of why Mason changed so much and became such a closed person. Yes, he still appears in posts with his father, but As for Kourtney, he’s very camera shy.. If you’re interested in getting inside Mason’s head and finding out why he makes the choices he does, then you’ve come to the right place.

Mason grew up in the spotlight. He is a smart and charming child who wants more privacy. He looks like his mother, but he has a lot of his father’s light and airy charm. He is an interesting mixture of both parents. Courtney, an often stern but stunningly beautiful figure on Keeping up with the Kardashians and its offshoot, Kardashiansloves his children. So does Scott, who lightens the atmosphere but has his own problems. Every parent has flaws – no parent is perfect. So why did Mason decide to live with his father Scott and leave his mother? The answer is very simple.

Mason doesn’t want to live with Travis Barker

Maybe he wants a parent without a partner

Children need stability – most of them like routine. Mason is used to living with Scott and Kourtney. He later spent time at both his parents’ homes. Kourtney used to love Scott, but she changed and when he tried to win her back, she told him he needed to tick some boxes before that happened. Apparently, he could never do this.

Scott seemed sullen when Kourtney met up with Travis. Scott could see the writing on the wall.

Kourtney is all in when it comes to relationships. She adored Scott, but then she gave in. When she started dating Travis, the ultra-romantic Courtney came to life. She believed in the fairy tale again, although Scott cheated on her, had vindictive fun and lied. Kourtney wants a fairy tale – she didn’t want to settle for Scott, who could never give it to her. The thing is, Travis isn’t really that different from Scott. He cheated on his wife, beauty queen Shanna Moakler, he cheated on her A LOT.

So Courtney went from one bad guy to another. It’s normal – it’s her type, and it’s so hard to go through. Humans are practically programmed to like certain types of people. It may even be beyond their control. However, the crucial difference here is that bad boy Scott is Mason’s father, while bad boy Travis is not.

Kourtney and Travis are madly in love

Their PDA is out of control

Courtney at the wedding Travisin ecstasy, after some lovestruck PDA that probably made Disick’s kids cringe. She then decided to link up with a former womanizer who says he has changed his ways. Kourtney has already heard this speech from Scott, but it doesn’t matter. This is a new relationship, and just like she tried to trust Scott, she will try to trust Travis until she can’t anymore. This is Courtney’s way.

So far their marriage seems happy. That is until Courtney finds something suspicious on Travis’ phone or a woman emerges from the tree and shares her memories of a heated encounter with Courtney’s husband.. At best, Travis will no longer be a serial cheater.

Connected

So Mason has a father whom he loves. His father lives alone. Mason has a mother whom he loves – his mother lives with a man whom Mason clearly does not love. Mason may not like Travis, but he might. For some reason he rejects the blended family. What has changed? It was Travis who entered his world. Travis has changed Mason’s reality, and the boy must miss the way things were. This is very sad. Mason seems to prefer the status quo of living with one or both parents rather than the stepparent dynamic, which can be problematic for many reasons.

I believe Mason doesn’t want to get close to Travis because his dad, Scott, is still in love with Kourtney. This means that Travis is a thorn in Scott’s side… someone he considers a rival. However, Courtney, like everyone else, made her choice. She will not change her mind until circumstances tear her out of her romantic fantasy. If this happens, she will find another man who will give her a fabulous experience. It probably won’t be Scott.

  • Scott needs to move on emotionally – the past is behind him.

  • Courtney needs to tone down the PDA – it’s too much since she’s a mom.

  • Mason needs space to be himself and enjoy privacy

Mason tries to be faithful to his father. He may feel more free with his father, who has Peter Pan syndrome. Scott grows up very slowly, lazily. Like Tom Hanks in BigScott’s childish spirit shines through. Scott shows off his cars and expensive watches. He boasts about his brand Talentless, which sells fairly standard hoodies.

Who buys them or wants to wear them? Not me, but someone should.

Courtney is loving but strict—she has rules about food and maintaining a perfect home—and she’s also completely engrossed in her role as Disney’s punk-pop princess in Blink-182’s Prince Charming. Dressing in dark and trendy outfits, she suddenly becomes a rock chick. She will take on the coloring of her partner, almost becoming absorbed by that person.

This is dangerous for Courtney – she is losing herself. Each person must maintain a sense of self in the relationship and stick to their interests and personality. They should not become exact copies of their partners.

Mason can see the yellow alert – perhaps he has a bad feeling about Travis. He may believe that he is not the right man for his mother. Mason may be jealous of the couple’s young son, Rocky. Maybe he’s tired of it True Romance pet names, cosplay and French kissing in public.

At the age of 14, his parents are naturally a source of shame. He’s a teenager now, and Kourtney and Travis’ relationship can sometimes irritate him. He feels at peace watching his mom kiss Travis – how does that feel? Not good.

On the other hand, the cunning deceiver Scott takes Mason away, probably encouraging his son to live with him. Scott really loves his kids—cold wars like these often arise after divorces. There is nothing unusual in what is happening here. The only difference is that adults (I use that term loosely) are famous.

Mason needs to experiment with life. He needs to feel comfortable at home. He’s old enough to choose, and because Courtney loves her son so much, she’ll let him go if that’s what he wants. This is true love. So no one needs to worry—Courtney loves Mason as much as ever, if not more. Letting someone go so they can be happy is probably the purest expression of love there can be, and the hardest.

Mason can return to his mother. There’s a strange melancholy about Scott – something inside him that makes him sad. He has a demon that he cannot defeat. Even surrounded by wealth, fans and children, he sometimes looks devastated. Perhaps it’s because Scott lost his parents and Kourtney. It could be something else: he has struggled with addiction in the past. If Mason comes back, Courtney will love him and take care of him like she always has.

So no one needs to worry about Mason. He has two parents who love him. He is free to live with whomever he wants. It’s up to him. He’s tired of the attention and it’s time to give him space and privacy. He deserves some semblance of a typical childhood. If he finds this in his father, then this step will be for the better. Everyone wants Kardashian Star Mason to be happy.
