Gremlins: The Wild Batch is finally here, and season 2 of Max’s hit Gremlins Show makes one major change to the location from the first season. Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai Brought the Gremlins franchise to the world of animation, creating a whole new prequel story centered on Gizmo and a new batch of characters. The figure of Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai Is back for another adventure, though Gremlins: The Wild Batch Take them to a brand new location.
Despite its new title, Gremlins: The Wild Batch Picks up right where Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai Left off, with Sam and Elle only Saved Shanghai from a gremlin invasion. However, the gremlin threat is not over yet, as the evil Mogwai and other magical enemies have started to cause trouble again, and only Sam, Al, and Gizmo can stop it.

Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai Set in 1920s Shanghai, the series focuses on the exciting new location that has not previously been seen in a Gremlins Movie. however, Gremlins: The Wild Batch Things are changing, with the premiere episode seeing Sam and Elle realize they have to go to the United States. Fortunately, they manage to pull this off, spending most of the season in San Francisco.

The reason they have to travel to San Francisco is that the antagonist of the first season, Noggin, has stowed away on a ship headed to the California city. The evil gremlin is sure to cause some more trouble while overseasWith Elle and Sam rightly fearing another gremlin rampage will occur. So, the duo decides to head to the United States, enlist some new friends, and stop Noggin once and for all (hopefully).
How Gremlins’ location switch changes the show
New characters and a new villain design
Moving the setting of Max’s animated Gremlins Series to San Francisco had a massive effect on the series, changing the types of story it can tell. First, an entire episode revolves around San Francisco’s Alcatraz prison, with Sam and Elle satisfying an inmate before discovering that the prison is run by undead guards. Simu Liu’s Chang, the prisoner they meet, then becomes a main cast member Gremlins: The Wild BatchActing as their guide through the city and country.

On top of that, Noggin’s villainous plan centers on San Francisco’s Chinatown, with him having overtaken the criminal underworld of the place until Sam and Al arrived. The episodes feature flashbacks showing how Noggin managed to pull this off, setting him up as a powerful antagonist in Gremlins: The Wild Batch.
