Why a Poison-type Eeveelution should be introduced in Pokémon Legends: ZA

Pokémon Legends: ZA is set to finally arrive late next year, and countless fans around the world are eagerly awaiting an update. One of the biggest questions that remains unanswered is which Pokémon will receive new forms or evolutions in this previous version of Kalos. Of the more than a thousand monsters that currently exist, there is hope that Eevee could perhaps be one of those lucky Pokémon.

Eevee is such a beloved Pokémon mainly due to the fact that has eight different evolutionseach with its own unique typing. However, there are several unused Pokémon types that Eevee doesn't yet have evolutions for, and fans have spent years coming up with theories about what could be next. Of the remaining ten types, the Poison type would absolutely make the most sense. ZA Legends.

Poison is the perfect antithesis to Sylveon

A duo representing life and death

In the past, new eeveelutions were often debuted in pairswith one having the type advantage over the other. Aside from the original trio, the only exception was the fairy-type Sylveon, who first appeared in Pokémon X and Y with no consideration in sight. Of the three strong types against Fairy, Poison would be by far the most anticipated and visually striking, as it would provide the perfect contrast to Sylveon's happy and adorable appearance.

A Poison-type eeveelution would also be perfect, given how she and Sylveon would connect to the themes of X and Y. While Sylveon represents purity and lifethe Poison type would represent illness and death. Ultimately, these details help create a subtle reference to Xerneas and Yvetal.

A poison-type Eeveelution could be a great addition to a villain's team

A suitable Eeveelution both in terms of visuals and gameplay

Although there has not yet been any indication as to what Subtitles: ZAthat the narrative will involve, it is exciting to speculate who or what the game's main villain will be. Assuming there is some form of antagonist for the player to deal with, then a Poison-type eeveelution would be a fantastic member of your team. Not only would it be visually imposing, but it would also provide a challenge for players to deal with using moves that inflict the poisonous status condition.

Considering how beloved Eevee and its eeveelutions are, it should only be a matter of time before a new one is finally introduced. Given its potential for a unique design and its ties to Sylveon, a Poison-type evolution seems very plausible. With how much potential Pokémon Legends: ZA has in terms of gameplay and story, not including this eeveelution would be a huge wasted opportunity.
