Whoopi Goldberg addresses the development of Sister Act 3 following the passing of Maggie Smith. After first being announced in 2018, Sister Act 3 has already suffered significant delays, with producer Tyler Perry’s update in February confirming that the script was still being worked on. The script now needs to be reworked in light of real-world circumstances, meaning the start of production or release date is still a long way from being announced.
