After his escape, Percy settled in Francewhere he married a Beauchamp woman and used her name as a cover.

Percy and Lord John have some important differences
Despite their romantic past, things are quite tense between Lord John Gray and Percy Beauchamp in Outlander season 7, episode 14. When Percy tried to caress Lord John's face, the latter man was having none of it. John pushed Percy's hand away and mentioned that the person who hurt his eye deserved to touch him. This animosity comes down to several factors. First, Percy was never loyal to Lord John. His sexual relationship with the German soldier proves this, and although John didn't want to see Percy hanged, he still felt betrayed by his longtime lover.
Additionally, Percy supports the Continental Army in Outlander Season 7, under which Lord John is a captive. Although Lord John has consistently felt love and kinship with rebels such as the Frasers, Hunters, and Mercy Woodcock, he continues to be dismissive of their struggle for independence. Still, it cannot be denied that Percy's information about William's capture on Captain Richardson's orders will certainly save the boy's life..
