Who is Glory? Everything fans know about Goku’s mysterious new ally in Dragon Ball Daima explained

Dragon Ball Daima quickly introduced a new character who is intended to play a critical role in the new series’ plot. But who is Glorio, this native of the Demon Realm who came to seek Goku’s help against King Gomah? Although information about Glório is still scarce, Dragon Ball Daima episode #3 gave some small details about the new hero that could have big implications for Goku’s journey through the Demon Realm.

Glorio is first seen spying on King Gomah, and later appears at the Earth Lookout, looking for Goku. Glorio attempts to recruit Goku to defeat Gomah, in the name of the demon lord who rules the Third Demon World, one of three areas within the Demon Realm. Although many of Goku’s allies are initially suspicious of Glorio, Goku eventually agrees to help Glorio to gain access to the Demon Realm and save Dende. Glorio then leads Goku and the Supreme Kai to the Third Demon World, where he begins to reveal his identity and purposes.

Glorio’s exact reasons for helping Goku are still unknown

Glorio is a native of the Demon Realm, originating from a poor area known as the Third Demon World, and claims to have been sent in the name of the Demon Lord who rules it. Very little of his past beyond that has been revealed so far. Glorio is a man of few words, although he can be courteouslike when he allowed Bulma to look over his plane to help repair the Supreme Kai’s ship. He has also shown to be attentive to Goku’s requests, such as when he said he was hungry, prompting Glorio to take him to a nearby bar for burgers.

Glorio appears to be an extremely competent martial artist, handling the bar’s noisy patrons without breaking a sweat.as well as dealing with the bandits that tried to attack them in the wastelands. He also appears to be a talented pilot, capable of traversing space and switching dimensions to reach Earth. Despite his skill in hand-to-hand combat, Glorio appears to rely primarily on an energy pistol as your main weapon. Although Glorio’s occupation is not known, his eavesdropping on Gomah and his work for the demon lord suggest he may be a spy or mercenary.

His role in the story is to act as Goku’s Guide to the Demon Realmas someone who has much more experience in this dangerous new world. It is known that he opposes Gomah, but other than preventing Gomah’s ascension to Demon King, Glory’s goals and motives remain unknown. Glorio is very different from most existing ones Dragon ball characters, especially with their preference for a weapon, which few characters use.

Glório remains a rather mysterious figure and has been evasive when pressed for details about his past. He likely has ulterior motives for recruiting Goku for this battle against Gomah, though exactly what those reasons might be has yet to be revealed. For now at least, Glorio and Goku share a goal in Dragon Ball Daimaand this is to defeat Gomah and stop him from becoming King of the Demon Realm.
