WandaVision capitalized on this reference by having Billy wear a relatively comical but homemade version of the traditional Wiccan costume from Marvel Comics as his Halloween costume in WandaVision Episode 6″,A brand new Halloween experience!“
Billy Maximoff was created as part of Wanda’s Westview hex. along with his brother Tommy Maximoff and his father Vision. His very existence is a prime example of how powerful Wanda Maximoff is, as he, along with his hex-born family, is made of solid matter and can interact with the world around him – although his existence depends on being imprisoned in the hex-zone. surrounding Westview. This is tragically demonstrated by his apparent demise when Wanda dispels the spell and her imaginary family with it.

This unusual ability can seemingly be used at will, although it is unlikely that rapid aging would be part of Wiccan’s core power set outside the hex – if he is still alive.
IN Agatha all togetherWiccan demonstrates enhanced versions of the abilities that Billy possessed. WandaVision. His blue magic returns and he is apparently able to possess Jennifer Kale and Lilia Caldera on Witch Road. It’s like a higher version of the mind control he’s capable of in WandaVision. Wiccan appears again in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
Billy and Tommy were broken along with the spell and Vision at the end. WandaVision. However, just moments later, Wanda is reading the Darkhold when Billy’s disembodied voice is heard calling out to her. The whole premise Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness depends on Wanda’s belief that Billy – or at least a variant of him – is still alive in the MCU. Billy Maximoff appeared to no longer exist on Earth-616.and now that Wanda is dead, the second hex cannot materialize the other version of the character presented in WandaVision. Agatha all together obviously it makes a difference.
How Agatha has been preparing Wiccan’s return all this time
The prevailing theory has always been that teenager Joe Locke was a Wiccan from the MCU.
Agatha all together Joe Lock debuted”teenager” in the first episode as a character whose nickname comes from the fact that he had a magical seal placed on him to prevent him from divulging personal information. This has given rise to many theories regarding the truth of his identity, the most widely accepted theory being Joe Locke’s portrayal of Billy Kaplan, also known as Wiccan in the Marvel comics. Kaplan/Tin took over Billy Maximoff’s soul when he was reincarnated into this body. so it looks like it’s the same here.

Several facts have already hinted at this. Firstly, The teenager quickly proved that he had at least some knowledge of magic.since it was he who freed Agatha from Wanda’s spell. The trailer also shows the teenager using blue magic, reminiscent of Wiccan magic in the Marvel comics and WandaVisionbefore episode 5 revealed it completely. Moreover, both Tin and Wiccan are gay and in relationships – although it remains to be seen whether Teen’s boyfriend will turn out to be an adaptation of Hulkling from the Marvel comics.
The secrecy surrounding his identity was another important hint, given that Agatha would find out.”Billy” from her encounters with the hex version in Westview. While Tin’s repeated references to his parents seem to contradict the idea of him being Billy Maximoff, it still fits with Billy Kaplan’s faithful adaptation as the reincarnated Billy Maximoff nonetheless. As it were, Wiccan plays a central role in the Young Avengers in Marvel Comics.which Kamala Khan has begun collecting in the MCU, suggesting that it’s only a matter of time before Wiccan joins their ranks.
Marvel Comics’ Origins and Abilities of Wiccan Explained
Wiccan is both Billy Kaplan and Billy Maximoff.
So far, the MCU is following a path very similar to Wiccan’s origins in the Marvel comics. Confirming Mephisto is canon in the MCU furthers this as Billy Maximoff was originally incarnated by Wanda Maximoff from a piece of Mephisto’s soul.. Both he and his brother Tommy supposedly died after Mephisto reabsorbed the fragments. However, he would later be retro-reincarnated into the body of Billy Kaplan, an identity he retains even after learning the truth about his origins as the son of Wanda and Vision and the twin of Tommy, who was reincarnated as Tommy Shepherd.
Wiccan is one of the founders of the Young Avengers organization. along with Nathaniel Richards/Iron Lad, Eli Bradley/The Patriot, and Teddy Altman/Hulkling, who is also Billy’s boyfriend. Kate Bishop and Cassie Lang will join the new team later, and Tommy Shepherd/Speed will join even later. A version of Vision that resembles the MCU’s White Vision, as he is built from the remains of the original Vision’s body and memories, is also part of the team.
Wiccan boasts an impressive array of abilities in the Marvel comics, reminiscent of his mother’s. These include reality manipulation, elemental manipulation, teleportation, telekinesis, telepathy, flight, healing, clairvoyance, and the ability to see into alternate universes.. Suffice it to say, if an MCU Wiccan emulates these abilities, then he would be an example of strength worthy Scarlet Witcha powerful legacy in the MCU.
