Spoiler Alert: The following article contains spoilers from The Outer Banks Season 4, Part 1.
Hollis Robinson makes her debut in Outer Banks Season 4, Part 1, and her real estate plans are, as many expected, nefarious and calculated. The Netflix action-adventure mystery teen drama TV series follows a group of treasure-hunting teens, and in season 4, they search for Blackbeard’s booty. However, in the midst of their dangerous adventures, Hollis is securing a deal with Rafe Cameron regarding the ownership of the allegedly haunted Goat Island. Although it’s not immediately clear how Hollis’ history ties into the Pogues Outer Banks Season 4 story, the ending of part 1 begins to draw them closer together.
The figure of Outer Banks Expands in season 4 with the addition of Brown as Hollis along with many others, such as Rigo Sanchez as Leitner. As mentioned above, the Pogues’ journey in season 4 mostly revolves around finding Blackbeard’s treasure – his wife’s amulet and the blue crown. However, they also find themselves embroiled in a competition with a group of criminals and mercenaries, which includes Lightner, to get to the Blue Crown first in Outer Banks Season 4. However, Leitner’s group isn’t the only opponent the Pogues have to watch out for in these episodes.
Hollis Robinson is a real estate developer originally from the Outer Banks
Hollis worked with Ward Cameron
Outer Banks Season 4, Episode 2, introduces Hollis (played by Shallow servicesBrianna Brown) When she comes to Rafe at a party with a business deal. She mentions that she previously worked with Rafe’s father, Ward Cameron, who she was good friends with. Hollis is also divorced from Mr. Robinson (meaning Robinson is not her birth name). Hollis grew up on the Cat, aka the Pogues side of the Outer Banks, but has since made a name for herself. It is unclear how Hollis cultivated such a prestigious reputation After growing up poor. However, as Hollis tells Sophia, whose father she worked with (in what manner is unknown), Sophia should “get what she can while she can” and that she can “choose to have this kind of life.” While this may not reveal much about how Hollis came to her success, it further showcases her willingness to do whatever it takes to get what she wants.
Hollis’ real estate plan with Goat Island and why she really wants Rafe on it
Hollis has an old motive in Outer Banks Season 4
like Outer Banks Season 4, episode 2 reveals, Hollis’ proposal for Rafe revolves around him buying a stake in Goat Island, which the Genrette family has owned for centuries. She claims the Genretes are selling (because the land is haunted) and looking for a select group of partners to syndicate her 18 miles of coastline, which is why Hollis comes to Rafe. however, Rafe is skeptical about Hollis. He thinks she is cheating on him because his contacts haven’t heard anything about the Goat Island for sale. Nevertheless, Rafe finally comes around Outer Banks Season 4, Part 1’s finale.

Hollis reaches out to Sophia’s father, whom she helped in the past, about making a deal with his daughter. In exchange for $25,000 from Hollis, Sophia will convince Rafe to agree to the Goat Island contract. At first, Sophia declines. But when she hears Rafe rejecting his relationship with her because she’s a pogue, Sophia agrees and pushes him in Hollis’ direction. so, Rafe signs the deal, possibly making a pact with the devil. Hollis picks Rafe for a villain goal in Outer Banks Season 4, Part 1, and it’s not because she feels bad about his dead dad.
Hollis’ twist with Chandler Groff in Outer Banks Season 4 explained
Part 1 ends with Hollis and Chandler together
After (presumably) robbing Rape of $400,000, Hollis tells him that once the money transfer goes through, he will meet with the other partners who syndicated Goat Island, and “all will be revealed.” However, that meeting never comes. Instead, episode 5 ends with a shocking revelation about Hollis – JJ learns that his father is Chandler Groff in Outer Banks Season 4, and The audience discovers that Goff is working with Hollis.
Groff and Hollis don’t share a scene in Part 1 until the end, when the two stand together on Goat Island, looking out into the water. “It will be glorious,” Hollis told Groff. Before the episode fades to black. Other than that, the Netflix teen drama doesn’t reveal any details about their partnership or how they know each other (part 2 undoubtedly has all the answers).
Groff could have killed Wes Genrette in Outer Banks Season 4 so he can move forward with his plans for Goat Island. Meanwhile, Hollis has already helped him.
Hollis and Groff are definitely working together through the Goat Island deal, because Hollis’ time with Rafe had a purpose and Groff’s brother-in-law was the last living Genrette (except JJ, but most people don’t know that). Groff could have killed Wes Genrette in Outer Banks Season 4 so he can move forward with his plans for Goat Island. Meanwhile, Hollis has already helped him. Whatever the case, both Groff and Hollis give off villainous vibes in Outer Banks Season 4, and part 2 will unveil what they really do.
