He is an excessively rich man who feels he has the power to get whatever he wants, but still wants to have more, which fuels his search for this supposed lost treasure.

Unfortunately for Loretta and Alan, Trainer unexpectedly leaves the film. It’s one of the film’s biggest surprises and makes the casting of an A-list actor in the role all the more effective.
