Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren's adorable daughter Mylah has grown up a lot since her last appearance on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?. Yara, who is Ukrainian, met Jovi, a native of Louisiana, on a travel app. She was attracted to his humorous personalityand their relationship became serious over time. Months before the COVID-19 pandemic, Jovi invited Yara to the United States and sponsored her K-1 visa. Yara and Jovi faced some common challenges during their debut season. They welcomed their daughter, Mylah, shortly after getting married. However, the baby did not solve his personal problems; the pandemic only made things worse. Recently, Yara and Jovi appeared on 90 Days: The Last Resortwhere they opened up about their problems. Yara admitted that she took birth control pills without Jovi's knowledge because she wasn't ready to have another child yet. When Yara found out she was pregnant, she called a friend for emotional support. She felt lost because of a previous miscarriage and was worried about Jovi's reaction to the pregnancy. Ultimately, Yara mustered up the courage to tell Jovi the truth. She predicted he would be thrilled with the news and excited about starting a family.
Unfortunately, when Yara told Jovi about her pregnancy, he showed no emotions. He claimed she was not pregnant and asked for proof. In September 2024, Yara celebrated Mylah's 4th birthday by posting a photo of her daughter dressed as a princess and holding a teddy bear. Yara wrote, "happy birthday to my favorite human being in the whole world" dedicating the post to Mylah. She added, "I can't believe you're ready at 4" expressing surprise at how quickly her daughter grew up.
Jovi also joked in the comments section, asking Yara, "I thought I was your favorite human."
Mylah became Yara's best friend
Yara values her alone time with Mylah Jovi's job requires him to be away from his family for weeks every few months. Therefore, Yara initially worried about being like a single mother when she first had Mylah.
However, things have improved in the last four years. Now that Mylah is older, Yara is no longer so worried about Jovi's work and enjoys spending time with her daughter, who she considers her best friend.
