New mechanics were continually added to the Pokemon GO over the years to give the game a fresh feel, and Ultra Wormholes does just that. The only way to capture the mysterious Ultra Beasts, these anomalies can occasionally appear a certain way on the map. For the casual coach who perhaps wasn’t playing the last time he showed up, this can certainly seem confusing.
However, once you know how and why they appear, finding some of the more elusive Pocket Monsters in the Pokemon GO Raid Boss programming will be much easier. Fans of Sun and Moon games will certainly recognize Ultra Wormholes and their significance. Those who do not will have their knowledge of Pokemon the tradition expands a little.
What is an Ultra Wormhole in Pokémon GO
It’s out of this world
Ultra Wormholes are portals into Pokemon GO that connect to Ultra Spaceallowing Ultra Beasts to enter the game world. This follows the same theme they originally did in Pokémon Sun and Moonoriginally discovered by Professor Mohn. In Pokemon GO Specifically, Ultra Wormholes appear in gyms during certain events, such as Raid Hours.
Instead of a large egg appearing over a gym normally, a cone-shaped dimensional gate will appear. If the players are after their favorite Pokemonto add to your Pokédex, this is the only way to get them. Any Ultra Beast faced in this way is a 5-star Raid boss, so it is advisable to never approach one of these portals alone.
To have the best chance of defeating an Ultra Beast, a Raid group of at least three to five players is required. The bigger the party, the better.

Players will only be able to capture a specific member of the Ultra Space beings when they are available to Pokemon GO events like Raid Hours. Keep an eye out for nearby attacks on the map while playing Pokemon GOand hopefully soon an Ultra Wormhole will be found containing the last Ultra Beast that is ready to be fought and captured.
