Once Lexi Wilson left Lady Michelle during Below Deck Mediterranean in season 6, she left the yachting industry for good. When Lexi joined the series, she immediately connected with the third stew, Courtney Veale. The two came together because of family problems they had at home. Specifically, Lexi had lost her father three months before starting her new job on one of the best reality TV shows, while Courtney’s father was battling Alzheimer’s disease. Soon after the call, Lexi became enemy number one on the boat. Although Lexi is no longer on the show, Below Deck Mid season 8 premiered in September.
After returning from crew night, Lexi got very drunk and ended up disrespecting all of her crewmates. Not only did she talk back to Chief Steward Katie Flood and Boatswain Malia White, but she also got into a physical altercation with deckhand Mzi Dempers. Lexi was fired from Below Deck Mid in the season finale, following a verbal altercation with Chef Mathew Shea, which the entire crew was happy to see. What happened to her after the show?

After leaving Lady Michelle, Lexi left the yachting industry for good. Although it is unclear what she is doing now in her career, Lexi enjoys traveling. After leaving Croatia two seasons ago, Lexi flew to Saint Lucia where she spent her birthday. Lexi returned to Miami, where she learned to play tennis at the Fisher Island Club. Miami is where Lexi claimed to own an $8,000 a month condo and likely lives there full time. However, Lexi spent some time in Newport, Rhode Island in July 2021, where she did some necessary decompressions after Below Deck Mid season 6 began airing.

Lexi avoided sharing updates while Below Deck Mid season 6 aired new episodes every week. Every now and then, she would do Q&As on her Instagram Stories, but most of the time she destroyed the team and production. Plus, it looks like Lexi got engaged shortly after filming Below Deck Mid and deleted her Instagram. During an episode of See what happens live with Andy Cohen As of August 2021, Malia revealed that she heard Lexi was engaged to a very rich man. “I mean, I saw she just got engaged to a very rich man,” said the foreman. The identity of Lexi’s fiance is still unknown and she has not confirmed or denied that she is engaged. She has no known presence on social media.
Now this Below Deck Mediterranean season 6 is over, Lexi is probably excited to no longer have to deal with the backlash she’s been receiving. She left the industry behind, as well as the internet, after deleting her Instagram. It seems almost impossible for anyone to consider her return to the spotlight.
What is Lexi doing in 2024?
Since Lexi has no social media presence after her time on Below Deck Mid 6th season came to an end, it’s hard to pinpoint what she’s been up to in 2024. After she was fired, Lexi lashed out at the season’s crew members. She mainly went after Chef Mathew. In a September 2021 Instagram post shared by below deck above averageLexi criticized the chef for berating her about her love lie by suggesting she was dating a rich guy. However, Lexi never revealed her relationship with Mathew, which was also not shown in the Below Deck Mid.
She also added that she planned to file a restraining order against Mathew. Lexi said she often goes to Rhode Island, where he lived at the time, and didn’t want to risk her safety. It is unknown if this restraining order was ever filed in November 2024. Lexi also criticized Deckhand David Pacoe in since-deleted Instagram Stories from 2021. She called him out for essentially saying she was an incompetent stew when David wasn’t until even a part of the interior team. Lexi told David to stay in her department and basically out of her business.
Although Lexi’s whereabouts are unknown as of 2024, it is clear that she has been misrepresented in many ways during her time on the Below Deck Mediterranean season 6. Lexi may be a princess, but the team treated her very badly on and off the show. Hopefully, Lexi will be in a much better space in 2024, away from reality TV.
