90 Day Fiance star Devin Hoofman is a changed person since his last appearance in season 10 with Seungdo “Nick"Ham. Devin is a 23-year-old from Arkansas who was engaged to Nick, 30, from Australia. Originally from South Korea, Nick was working in Australia where he met Devin on a dating app. Devin and Nick were together for two years when Devin had to return home to the United States. Instead of pursuing a long-distance relationship, Devin and Nick decided to get engaged so he could come to America.
Nick was worried about moving to Searcy, Arkansas, where he feared the lack of diversity and the possible racism he would have to face. Meanwhile, Devin seemed worried about meeting Nick's family in South Korea. She even cried when meeting them because she was overwhelmed by the language barrier and the pressure of taking Nick with her to the United States. Meanwhile, Nick made a bad first impression on Devin's parents by comparing him to a pig. Still, Devin and Nick got married in the end. Nick and Devin moved to Atlanta, Georgia after filming.

Not only did she lose a lot of weight, but Devin also had a glamorous new look, complete with stylish Louboutin heels. Devin's Husband Nick Faced the Music for Calling Devin “piggy"because she looked"chubby” to him. Nick embarrassed Devin on camera for patting her belly and telling her she was lazy because she ate fast food for lunch every day. Nick wasn't shy about saying it to Devin's face in front of her parents.

Devin had lost nearly 30 pounds by the time he filmed the reunion. In a now-deleted Instagram post, Devin mentioned that she had TMJ and chronic jaw tension since she was a child, which worsened with age. Devin started taking the injections. Afterwards, the pain made his face swell and appear larger. Devin also had to place weight due to binge eating and drinking during filming. She was doing it to deal with the stress of filming the show. Devin was at her lowest at the time, but she insisted she didn't mind Nick calling her.”piggy.”

Devin has made some franchise friends since his 90 Day Fiance season 10 premiere. Devin is close to Clayton Clark in his season. However, in September 2024, Devin revealed that she was friends with another co-star. Close enough for them to spark romance rumors. Reddit user SpriteWrite posted screenshots of a TikTok posted by Statler that showed Devin and her sitting at a bar with Devin feeding her. The caption read: “Devin, I love you. I need you” with Statler asking Devin to marry him using a ring emoji.
