Culver Bradbury Below Deck has been busy working since the show. The series became the third Below Deck spin-off after debuting on Peacock in 2022. Jason Chambers and Aesha Scott led the show to success with their unique bond as Captain and Chief Stew. Below Deck Season 2 introduced a new roster of crew members, although Culver had appeared on the series a season earlier as one of Captain Jason’s sailors. Culver was a fan favorite yacht in Below Deck season 1, while it received mixed reviews in season 2.
He seemed to relax as a sailor in his second stint with the franchise. Some fans argued that Culver was the worst Below Deck sailor in the show’s history. Captain Jason and boatswain João Franco lacked respect. Culver failed to understand the hierarchy of yachting and was impolite to his superiors. In addition to its poor performance during Below Deck Season 2, Culver was a notorious philanderer. Trained several boatmen during his stints on the show and didn’t mind breaking hearts along the way.
Culver wrote an e-book
The book is about how he stays in shape on yachts
After Below Deck Season 2, the sailor released an e-book. Culver shared the news on his Instagram page, revealing that Fit for work: how I stay fit on land and at sea he would be combine your physical training experience with your yachting career. Throughout the e-book, he gives fitness tips, meal recipes, and a six-week strength training program guide. Culver warned his followers that his e-book was not a “boring book”but a“passion project” which he was excited to share with his supporters.
“Health and fitness will always be a passion of mine, and nothing excites me more than helping others become stronger both physically and mentally.”

Culver is good friends with Chief Stew Aesha
Culver stood close to one of his Below Deck co-stars, Chief Stew Aesha. He shared a selfie with his beloved Below Deck yacht on Instagram while relaxing together on the beach. “I just need the beach, a cool breeze and a chat with @aesha_jean and I’ll be fine,” he captioned the post. Together, Culver and Aesha were two fan-favorite team members of Below Deck season 1. Although he has unfortunately fallen out of favor with fans, Chief Stew remains a fixture of the franchise.
Notably, Aesha returned to Below Deck Mediterranean to serve as Captain Sandy Yawn’s chief stew in season 9. Her casting in the Mediterranean-based spin-off hinted that she will not return to Below Deck Season 3, although nothing has been confirmed. Aesha belongs Below Deck with Culver, but it is unclear whether they will return for another charter season.
Culver’s Journey Below Deck
Culver moved on after Below Deck in Season 1
Culver was quite a character Below Deck seasons 1 and 2. After the first season, he became beloved by the public, although he still had some problematic moments. Captain Jason caught him drinking with charter guests during Below Deck season 1. His actions were incredibly unsafe, but he was called back for season two. Culver lost his fan favorite status after his attitude changed during his second season. His perspective changed from season 1 to season 2, and he felt a sense of entitlement having appeared on the show earlier.
Culver seemed like a lazy sailor and his lack of motivation upset Captain Jason and John. When John talked to him about his behavior, Culver agreed to change, but made rude comments about the boatswain behind his back. Culver prioritized his diet over his performance as a sailor throughout the charter season. He spent a lot of time in the kitchen, making his shakes and eating. His interest in food came from his short career as a boatman with Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph. They kissed, but he disregarded her when Stew Jamiee Neale joined the crew.
Will Culver ever return to Below Deck?
It’s a possibility
It’s unclear whether Culver will return to Below Deck. After the first season of the spin-off, he was loved by Below Deck public. However, his personality changed in Season 2, and he was criticized for his laziness as a sailor. Culver didn’t say he wouldn’t want to return to the franchise. He appears to share a close relationship with Aesha, who could return to Below Deck season 3. However, his fate with the Below Deck the franchise is on air for now.
Culver has released his e-book since Below Deck season 3. He began exploring the opportunities that come with appearing on a reality show. It is uncertain whether he will return for another season of Below Deckbut time will tell his future with the show.
What will Culver do in 2024?
He’s focused on himself
It’s been over a year since Below Deck season two has aired and wrapped, so what is Culver doing now in 2024? Well, the sailor has been focusing on his well-being and doing things that make him happy. Most recently, in mid-October 2024, Culver spent a day with his family in Washington D.C.. He shared a series of photos from the fun day on his Instagram, with one including him with a woman and child.
One fan thought the baby was Culver’s, but he quickly denied it that he became a father in less than a year. He responded by saying:
Uncle Keith, brother, man,
confirming that the baby was his niece and not his daughter. Although Culver probably wants to be a father one day, that day hasn’t come yet.
As for his career, judging by his Instagram page, it appears that Culver is still working in the yachting industry. He recently shared a video of himself working out on the deck, drinking a protein shake. The video was also a paid partnership, so Culver is also making some money as an influencer. Sometimes it literally pays to be a reality star, and Culver is cashing in. The sailor is using his fame to his advantage, which is a smart business move. As for whether he’s coming back to Below Deck season three, that’s still up in the air.
Although Culver didn’t make the best impression last season, he is still an important part of the franchise. It brought a lot of laughs and is one of the most memorable Below Deck franchise cast members. Hopefully he will return for season three.
