Brooklyn is almost murdered (using an allosaurus)
The Allosaurus attack on Brooklyn was no accident
until the end of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory season 1, Brooklyn is believed to have died in an Allosaurus attack. Brooklyn planned to meet with Darius that night so she could show him the illegal dinosaur sales at the DPW. The situation went horribly wrong when the Allosaurus was released from the transportation truck. Despite what everyone believed, this was no accident. During Jurassic World: Chaos Theory Episode 7, “That Night,” a DPW agent named Mateo details exactly what happened the night of the Allosaurus attack.
Mateo was paid to make an illegal dinosaur coup, but the other truck never showed up. When he got out of the truck, he realized that the dinosaur was not sedated as usual. The lock is then remotely restored, allowing the Allosaurus to exit the truck and attack Brooklyn. She barely survived the assassination attempt, losing an arm in the process – That explains the blood in the attack site. Brooklyn survived only thanks to DPW agent Ronnie, a friend of Darius, who was able to reach Brooklyn before the dinosaurs killed her.
Why Brooklyn was attacked
Brooklyn would not stop researching illegal dinosaur sales
Before the Allosaurus attack, Brooklyn began tracking the illegal buying and selling of dinosaurs using the conspiracy theory website Dark Jurassic. She figured out that the DPW was involved and wanted more information. Brooklyn went to Kenji’s father, Daniel Kuhn, thinking he was involved in the illegal practice. While he denies his involvement when talking to Kenji, the money and note that Kenji and Darius find in her closet indicate that he is lying.

The note references that Brooklyn and Mr. Kahn had an agreement, revealing that she obtained more information by intervening directly in the black market. This is how she knew about the dinosaur cup on the night of her attackOnly a drop will appear. As she continued to dig into the DPW’s dinosaur smuggling, Cabrera sent threatening messages warning Brooklyn to stop. She would not, so he worked with the Allosaurus attack to scare her into silence – only for the broker to try and silence her forever.
Brooklyn is alive (and why she’s in hiding)
Brooklyn’s survival is revealed at the end of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory Season 1
at the end of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory In season 1, it is revealed that Brooklynn was alive the whole time. After the Allosaurus attack, it is clear that Brooklyn hid, leaving her friends and family to assume the worst, but the true reason is left a secret to the audience. The most likely theory as to why is this She realized that her life would continue to be in danger Unless she refused to expose and take down the illegal dinosaur trade – a goal she would not let go.
Another possibility is that she went into hiding to protect her friends. Brooklyn may have found out that the DPW caused the Allosaurus attack and believed they would leave her friends alone if she was dead. A third explanation for her going into hiding is that she realized she could do more if everyone thought she was dead. She can continue researching and tracking transactions online without constantly looking over her shoulder. Ultimately, all three of these theories proved correct in season 2.
Who Saved Brooklyn and Why She Stayed “Dead”
Brooklyn has a good reason to hide
The full details of Brooklynn’s story are revealed in Chaos theory Season 2 Episode 3, “C13v3rGr186.” The episode is largely centered on a number of flashbacks, delving into Brooklyn’s actions shortly before and right after the attack. It turns out that it was Darius’ boss Ronnie at the DPW who saved Brooklyn. Given her experience with dinosaurs and medical expertise (albeit with wildlife instead of people), Ronnie was able to save Brooklyn And patch her enough that she could survive her losing her hand.
Despite her temptations to tell her friends and family about her survival, Brooklyn ultimately holds back for several reasons. Having already begun to track down the mysterious broker, Brooklyn decided that his death could allow her to remain under the radar as she continues her investigation. It also prevents you (and Ronnie) from being targeted again. Additionally, Brooklyn overhears the villain Jensen casually mention killing her friends if they become a problem, which convinces her to keep them out of the loop for their own safety.

Like Brooklynn Goes Undercover
In season 2 of Chaos theoryBrooklyn’s storyline sees her go undercover in the dinosaur black market. Working on both sides of the conflict between them and protesters seeking to “free” the dinos, Brooklyn was eventually able to meet the broker himselfwho turns out to be Suiona Santos. Santos is the same smuggler who appeared in Jurassic World: DominionHinting on the scope of the operation. Eventually working her way into Santos’ good graces, Brooklyn is able to learn more firsthand and witness her crimes.
This may be the key to Brooklyn fully exposing the black market, but may also be a step too far for her friends to forgive.
This sets up Brooklynn’s status at the end of season 2. Although she is found by the rest of the Nublar Six and confirms her survival, she brushes off their attempts to keep her around. Instead, despite her temptation to join her friends, Brooklyn goes with Santos to meet her other allies. This may be the key to Brooklyn fully exposing the black market, but may also be a step too far for her friends to forgive. Fans will have to wait and see how things pan out in the subsequent seasons of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory.
