Wait, Genshin Impact 5.2 Might Actually Have a New Archon Quest

A new Archon Quest can be added to the Genshin Impact 5.2, despite speculation that the patch would not receive any new main story missions in what would be a short break in Natlan’s story arc before its conclusion in version 5.3. The next big patch for HoYoverse’s action RPG is version 5.2, a patch that is already confirmed to feature Chasca and Ororon as playable characters. The beta tests for the update have already begun and, with them, several details about it begin to emerge, including Chasca’s abilities in Genshin Impact 5.2, which can surpass the Wanderer’s abilities.

In addition to information about the new playable characters, the leaks also highlight other content that should be added with version 5.2. This includes the number of Primogems players will be able to acquire with the next patch, new areas of the Natlan map that can be added, and even rewards players can obtain from events. Until now, it was believed that events would make up the majority of the update’s playable content.like the Dragonspine event leaked in Genshin Impact 5.2, but it looks like there may be a new Archon Quest in the patch.

Genshin Impact 5.2 may have a new archon quest

Data leaks highlight a new main story mission

Despite speculation that the next patch would feature no new Archon Quests, it appears that Version 5.2 will have at least one new main story quest set in Natlan. As reported by the leaker known as HomDGCat, there is data for an Archon Quest reward in version 5.2. The leak was shared in a post on Reddit. According to the leak, the leaked game data reward is for a single Archon Quest, meaning the next update should pale in comparison to Natlan’s two previous updates in Genshin Impact.

For reference, versions 5.0 and 5.1 featured two Archon Quests that made up Natlan’s larger story arc. If the leak is true, version 5.2 will only feature one Archon Quest, meaning half of the regular main story content should be added in the patch. Although the main focus should be on the update events, It doesn’t look like the Natlan arc will stop completely, as previously expected. Expectations for the lack of more Archon Quests in Version 5.2 were somewhat set by an announcement made by HoYoverse during the Genshin Impact Live Streaming 5.0.

The absence of new Archon Quests in version 5.2 was somewhat suggested by the developer himself. During the version 5.0 livestream, HoYoverse announced that players would now receive a pack of 500 Primogems for completing new Archon Quests within the patch in which they were released. HoYoverse mentioned that the Primogems bundle would be a recurring prize for players during versions 5.0, 5.1 and 5.3, skipping version 5.2. This led the community to understand that the game would not see new Archon Quests in Genshin Impact 5.2, although HoYoverse never confirmed or denied that this would be the case.

However, the recent leak shows that the patch will, in fact, introduce a new Archon Quest. Players may simply not be rewarded the normal 500 Primogems they would normally receive for completing the chain of new Archon Quests during the update.. That doesn’t mean players won’t be rewarded for their efforts. As mentioned in the leak itself, there is a reward in store for players who complete the Archon Quest added with version 5.2. This reward will likely be a small sum of Primogems in Genshin Impactwhich are distributed for each completed Archon Quest.

The leak not only highlights the possible existence of a new Archon Quest in version 5.2, but also gives players more details about what they can expect from the new story missions. The leaker mentions that the line count in the new Archon Quests in version 5.2 is relatively lower than in previous patches. In addition to this information, the leak also highlights all the characters with lines during the supposed Archon Quest and how many each of these characters speaks. The character Natlan from Genshin Impact with the most lines in the leak is Iansã.

After her, the leak says that Paimon will have 65 lines, followed by the Traveler with 57 lines. Capitano also appears to have some importance during the patch’s rumored Archon Quest, with 41 lines. According to the leak, Other major Natlan characters who will make appearances during the update’s rumored Archon Quest include Xilonen, Citlali, Chasca, Mualani, Kachina, Kinich, and Ororon. One of the characters with lines in the leak has not been named. The most notable absence from the leaked thread count for Archon Quest in version 5.2 is Mavuika in Genshin Impact.

Based on the leaked row count, the Pyro Archon will not have any participation in the next Archon Quest. This should seem like a surprise, considering the vital role she has played in Natlan’s story arc and its developments as forces come together to fend off the Abyss’s incursion. From the looks of the leak, it appears that this new Archon Quest will primarily focus on Iansã as an important character in the Pyro Nation, and could serve as a bridge between the Archon Quests of Genshin ImpactVersions 5.1 and 5.3.

These leaks must be approached with caution. Despite the leaker’s prior record of correct leaks and its subsequent reliability, the information provided may be incorrect, incomplete, or subject to change. It’s important to note that HoYoverse never confirmed the lack of Archon Quests in version 5.2, but only the lack of increased rewards. As such, there is a strong chance that there will indeed be at least one new Archon Quest in version 5.2, putting a halt to player-created speculation that Genshin Impact The lack of Primogem rewards for Archon Quests in 5.2 meant there were no Archon Quests.
