Venom: The Last Dance
said goodbye to the duo that was Venom and Eddie Brock, but some fan art beautifully provides the two characters with a reunion in an unexpected way. At the end of Poison 3Venom heroically sacrifices himself to protect Eddie and the rest of the humans. While fighting a horde of horrific aliens, he merges with the creatures, forcing them to certain destruction under a bath of acid.
However, while it appears that Venom may be gone for good, the film has hinted that he could return via the small sample of Venom symbiote General Rex Strickland secured at the beginning of the film. In a post-credits scene, this same sample is seen as a cockroach approaches, which gave way to the artist behind this comic. create a beautiful reunion moment for Eddie and Venom. Perfectly capturing the mood and tone of the films with Venom inhabiting a cockroach.
What Venom 3 Fan Art Means
Venom’s Comedy Moment Is Perfect for Comics
The image shows Venom calling out to Eddie in an excited and loud manner, while declaring that he is now stuck with a cockroach. Eddie responds in surprise, asking if the cockroach is really his friend and announcing that he believes he is dead. And in a simple, cryptic response that perfectly fits both the format of the comics and the trilogy’s Venom style, he shouts “Surprise!” Of course, the comic is a fun take on these two characters and a strange reunionbut it could give way to a more credible story in the future.
Our Take on Venom 3 Fan Art
Venom has something serious for animals
One thing that the Poison films absolutely isn’t, it’s subtle. THE films feature strong foreshadowing with references to later moments and signage that is delivered in a heavy-handed way. For example, Poison 3 featured Dr. Teddy Payne first recounting his lightning incident when he was young. Later in the film it shows her bonding with a symbiote and having lightning powers. Strickland appears early in the play as he controls the acid bath to dispose of Area 51 materials, and later the acid bath plays a key role in the film’s ending.
Another important detail repeated in Poison 3 is the fact that Venom can bond with animals. He bonds with a horse, a fish, a frog, and finally the enormous creatures sent by Knull. While it’s possible that the previous call was a hint at Venom’s method of taking down the beasts, it doesn’t seem like a coincidence that this all happened, and the last time his symbiote is seen, he shares the screen with a cockroach. Sure, it could just be a funny picture, but it seems like Venom: The Last Dance was riding a Venom cockroach, just as the fan art shows.
