Vikings and Vikings: Valhalla have been among the most popular historical action shows of the last decade, and surprisingly historically accurate in parts, with many Vikings Characters based on real people. I was hooked from start to finish. The end of Vikings Season 6 disappointed some fans who would have preferred a final dramatic vision of the characters together in Valhalla, although I disagree. I thought Vikings Chose the perfect note to end on.
Ube and Fluki could change America for life, in a Vikings: Valhalla Sequel.
The peaceful scene that saw Ubbe in North America, reminiscent of Floki, one of the originals Vikings characters to end the series, had me, as a spin-off skeptic, ready to say goodbye VikingsBut still watching Vikings: Valhalla, What follows a new set of warriors, I need something I have never asked for – a sequel. Vikings: Valhalla Centers on explorer Leif Erikson, and although both series often follow real events, Vikings Changes one huge and surprising historical detail that changed the fates of Ube and Fluki: It didn’t go to America, as far as we know, but Leif.
How Vikings changed history by making Ubbe and Floki go to America
Leif Erikson is thought to be the first Viking to reach America
The real Ubbe is thought to have invaded England as seasons 4 and 5 of Vikings Shown. Ube did not explore North America, making the events of season 6, in which he tries to form a trade alliance with the Mi’kmaq tribe, completely closed. The real Floki, like his Vikings character, did not like Iceland, although he finally settled there. He didn’t go to America either, just Vikings Fluki got along well enough with the Mi’kmaq people to teach them Old NorseMore than a century before the first Viking was supposed to have found America.

Many historians think Leif Erikson was the first Viking to reach North America. Vikings: Valhalla Completed its third season as planned, but before Leif reached America. I was reluctant to watch the spin-off at first, especially because, by many accounts, Vikings: Valhalla Is just not as good as VikingsHowever, I liked it, and now need to see more. The historical difference means that Ube and Fluki could change America for life. I need to know what would happen if Leaf ended up in a place they visited and found witnesses – or descendants – of Ube there.
Vikings: The End of Valhalla makes me want a sequel in America
A Vikings: Valhalla sequel could continue the story of Life and the Mi’kmaq people
As Leif discovered America, he was able to find descendants of the Mi’kmaq who had met Obe and Fluke, and Children of Ube were able to connect directly VikingsAnd Vikings: Valhalla. This change of history could make a Vikings: Valhalla Spin-off unpredictable, but in a good way, also continuing the legacy of Vikings Fan favorite character Floki. I want to know what else Fluki shared with the MCMC, apart from his language, and I need to know if Naad’s greed and Obs’s mercy to execute him quickly will make the MCMC more or less careful of Leif’s crew.
A Vikings: Valhalla Sequel set in America could give us more insight into the Mi’kmaq peopleCentering indigenous characters and potentially writing something Vikings Overlooked. Vikings could have been unlike any other television show except, perhaps, Game of Thrones – which is what attracted me to finally watch it in the first place, but it sometimes depicted colonizing indigenous lands in a much more idealized, even romantic way, so I would like to see the Vikings Sage gets another chance to portray this aspect more accurately, from another perspective.
Could another Viking show happen?
Showrunner Jeb Stewart has plans to continue The Vikings Story
The lack of a Vikings: Valhalla Season 4 was a surprise, as many of the storylines were already set up for another season. Some may think that because A Vikings Timeline already in place in America could create a narrative problem for a Vikings: Valhalla SequelBut it can also tell Leaf’s story as it really happened, but with extra influence from Vikings and Easter eggs to interest fans of the original series, and I need to see what the showrunners and writers could do with that extra element, as well as new Mi’kmaq characters.

Vikings is a historical drama series created for the History Channel by Michael Hirst. Based on stories set in Norse lore, the series focuses on the Lodbrok family and their lives during medieval Scandinavia. The family is formally established by the rise of Ragnar Lodbrok, a farmer turned Viking who rises to power as a Scandinavian king.
Set in the early 11th century, Vikings: Valhalla chronicles the heroic adventures of some of the most famous Vikings ever chronicled. As tensions between the Vikings and the English royal family reach a bloody breaking point and as the Vikings clash over their conflicting Christian and pagan beliefs, the three Vikings embark on an epic journey that will take them across oceans and across battlefields, from Kattegat to England and beyond, as they fight for survival and glory.
