Dear ones hits all the right notes for the anti-rom-com, exploring two best friends as they make a pact to break up with their high school sweethearts. Part of the reason the film thrives is the incredible cast who create likable and unlikeable characters. The best-known name is Kiernan Shipka, a renowned actress who transitioned from child star to more adult roles, such as Jamie in Dear ones. Although she is the biggest attraction, the other up-and-coming actors deliver fantastic comedic performances that will make viewers laugh.
