Yara Zaya recently shared her thoughts on Sophie Sierra's response to Josh Weinstein's flirty messages, which were recently discussed on 90 Days: The Last Resort season 2. The new season follows six popular couples trying to resolve their marital issues through therapy. One of the most dysfunctional couples of the season is Natalie Mordovtseva and Josh. Both are prone to dramatic outbursts and often engage in heated arguments. The last fight occurred when Natalie discovered that Josh had invited Sophie to Las Vegas instead of her and that he was flirting with Sophie in private.
In a recent episode, Sophie shared that the drama between Josh and Natalie has brought her closer to her ex-husband, Rob Warne. While there is some suggestion that Natalie unnecessarily involved Sophie in her fight with Josh, Yara doesn't think Sophie's interaction with Josh was entirely appropriate. Recently, Yara spoke with Access Hollywood and shared her opinion on the drama between Sophie, Josh and Natalie. The Ukrainian accused Sophie of participating in Josh's flirting and asked: “what are you doing in this situation, you are still married.” Yara added, "Obviously he's flirting with you and you still respond to his texts. Like, what are you doing.” She concluded her statement by calling Sophie's actions "crazy."
What does Yara Zaya calling Sophie mean?
Yara doubts that Sophie's conversations with Josh were purely innocent
Yara is much more popular than Sophie, so she probably didn't attack her to appear superior. Instead, the Ukrainian likely shared harsh words with her co-star because she couldn't understand his actions. Yara has a lot of experience in front of the camera and has faced many significant relationship challenges across multiple seasons. She even appeared in 90 Days: The Last Resort Season 1, where she sought therapy similar to what Sophie has been doing in Season 2. Yara shared her truth throughout the season and made an effort to resolve her marital issues.
There is a possibility that Yara called Sophie because she didn't understand her disconcerting behavior.
She was surprised that Sophie joined 90 Days: The Last Resort in an attempt to save their marriage while also exchanging messages with Josh behind the scenes. Yara was probably confused about why a married woman would communicate with another man while professing a desire to save his marriage. Additionally, Yara likely found Sophie's claim that the drama with Natalie strengthened her relationship with Rob to be false. Yara knows that Rob wouldn't approve of Sophie talking to Josh, given his previous displays of jealousy.
Our opinion on Yara criticizing Sophie and taking Natalie's side
Yara may think Sophie doesn't value the institution of marriage
Some fans might argue that Yara sided with Natalie because they are both from Ukraine, but it seems like Yara chose logic over Sophie's behavior.
It seems like Yara doesn't particularly like or approve of Sophie. She doesn't follow her on Instagram or consider her a friend. Yara tried hard to save her marriage with Jovi Dufrenmaking sacrifices and raising a beautiful family. It seems she disapproves of Sophie's lack of respect for her marriage. Yara can feel that the 90 Days: The Last Resort cast member is mocking the sanctity of marriage.
