In chapter #14 of Boruto: Two Blue VortexBoruto is captured and interrogated by Konohamaru and Ibiki, with Shikamaru and the two elders listening in and asking questions remotely. Mitsuki is a great ally for Boruto and arguably one of the strongest ninjas in the village. He can definitely be of great help against the Shingu. Furthermore, the fact that he is part of Orochimaru’s family means that he can get a member of the legendary Sannin on Boruto’s side.

It is interesting to see how Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Will use this underrated character, but so far, he was set to become an important piece in the puzzle and help Boruto in the struggle to save the world. With a bond that literally defies reality, Mitsuki And Boruto could be an amazing duo if the series goes that route.
