Notice! This article contains SPOILERS for Tulsa King, season 2, episode 9.The end of King of Tulsa season two probably still has some surprises in store, and one of them could concern Chickie Invernizzi (Domenick Lombardozzi). Even though the cast of King of Tulsa season 2 grew from the start of the show and Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) got more enemies, Chickie remained a thorn in the gangster’s side. Even though Dwight killed his main opponent, Jackie Ming (Rich Ting), he still has to deal with Chickie at the end of King of Tulsa season 2. Chickie, however, may have a surprise up her sleeve.
All over King of Tulsa Season 2, Chickie is on a downward spiral. He was losing control of his gang from the start and was almost completely kicked out by Vince (Vincent Piazza). Chickie has been almost completely ineffective as both a mob boss and a villain all season, but a new theory would make him a major player in the King of Tulsa in a very surprising way. If true, it could even mean that King of Tulsa season two will end with a major plot twist that will completely change New York and Oklahoma.
Chickie is heading to Tulsa to face Dwight, on Vince’s orders
Vince suggested that Chickie could convince Dwight to work in New York again or kill him
The story of Chickie’s brewery was overshadowed by the death of Jackie Ming at the end of King of Tulsa Season 2, Episode 9, but it could be very important. One of the final scenes of the episode showed that Chickie took a train to Oklahoma to confront Dwight on Vince’s orders.. Vince deposed Chickie as head of the Invernizzi family, but offered him a way to regain his position as boss if he could get Dwight to pay his debts to the family again or kill him. There will be some kind of confrontation when Chickie arrives in Tulsa, but it could happen in an unexpected way.
Chickie’s Tulsa King story so far is very similar to Goodie’s
Interestingly, Chickie’s story at the end of King of Tulsa season 2 is shaping up to be eerily similar to Goodie’s (Chris Caldovino) story at the end of King of Tulsa season 1. The parallels between Chickie and Goodie’s stories are everywhere and could be significant for the ending of King of Tulsa 2nd season. Both gangsters were sent to Tulsa to confront Dwight, both went by train, both were increasingly disillusioned with the head of the Invernizzi family, and both had a long history with Dwight before coming to Oklahoma.

There are, of course, some important differences in Chickie and Goodie’s stories. For example, Chickie was on a train because he was placed on the TSA’s no-fly list, while Goodie is afraid of flying, and Chickie’s previous relationship with Dwight was much more hostile than Goodie’s. Despite their differences, the fact remains that King of Tulsa is drawing important parallels between Chickie and Goodie. King of Tulsa There’s almost certainly a reason for setting up Chickie’s story this way and paying so much attention to her fall from power. That reason could be that Chickie will follow the same path that Goodie took in joining Dwight’s gang.
Why Chickie Might Decide to Join Dwight in Tulsa King’s Season 2 Finale
Chickie may see Dwight as her best chance to take back Vince’s gang
Based on the similarities between Chickie’s development over the course of King of Tulsa Season 2 and Goodie’s role in the Season 1 finale, it looks like Chickie may join Dwight when he arrives in Oklahoma. Not only would this be a fitting twist for the season finale, but it would also be perfectly in line with Chickie’s character development. He hates Dwight, but he probably hates Vince a lot more for deposing him. Chickie likely sees Vince’s offer to rejoin the family as an insult, and he may see Dwight as his only chance to regain control of the Invernizzi family by force..
Chickie is many things, but among her most prominent character flaws is her ego. He killed Pete because he felt he wasn’t getting the respect he deserved, tried to kill Dwight for defying his rule, and executed Joe just to get revenge on Goodie for leaving the gang. Chickie thinks the Invernizzi family is his birthright, and he’s probably not a man who would crawl back to Vince, the man who usurped him, and beg for forgiveness.. It would be much more likely that he would take the Invernizzi family back by force, but to do so he would need Dwight’s help.
It would be much more likely for Chickie to take the Invernizzi family back by force, but to do that, he would need Dwight’s help.
If Chickie joins Dwight in Oklahoma, it would open up a lot of interesting possibilities for King of Tulsa season 3. Chickie, as unhinged and unpredictable as he is, brings with him a lot of knowledge of the world of gangs and how to command a crowd, and can be a valuable asset to Dwight.. He would also be the third New Yorker to join Dwight’s team alongside Goodie and Armand (Max Casella), which could open up some interesting interactions between the characters. Chickie would even be the perfect parallel for Armand, and King of Tulsa could show the two fighting to get into Dwight’s good graces.
While it certainly seems possible for Chickie to join Dwight’s crew, there’s another, probably more likely but certainly less surprising, way her trip to Oklahoma could go. Chickie could feign interest in joining Dwight’s gang just to get close enough to kill him. This would probably suit his violent nature better, but it would go against his inflated pride. If that happens, Chickie may not live long enough to see New York again. The only thing that can prove what Chickie intends to do in Oklahoma, however, is the end of King of Tulsa season 2.
