Jensen and I have known each other for a long time, we just never had a chance to work together. Jensen is the perfect guy to play Russell. It’s such a well-developed character in the book and even more so with what we’ve done on the show.

What this means for Tracker Season 2
This season is something of a reunion for Hartley and Ackles, as they both previously starred SmallvilleWhere Hartley portrayed Oliver Queen/Green Arrow and Ackles was Jason Teague. However, they never actually shared scenes together. Hartley first hinted at Ackles’ return to Tracker During the Television Critics Association 2024 press tour in July, said, “We have him; He comes back.“Russell’s involvement indicates Tracker Season 2 is poised to continue the stories it established in Season 1And that he could continue to be a major recurring player.
The end of Tracker Season 1, which involved Colter discovering certain information about his father and siblings, set up an exciting return for Russell in Season 2. Although it seems likely his arrival will take on the storyline surrounding his and Colter’s family, his first episode in Season 2 will have a compelling plot on top of that. He will arrive in episode 2“Anthological Shock,” which will air on Sunday, October 20. The episode will see Colter disappear while searching for a missing father, while Reenie (Fiona Rene) calls Russell for help.
