Animal Crossing: New Horizons It’s the kind of game that’s best enjoyed slowly, at a relaxed pace, and with no goal in mind other than to have fun. While there are no real “goals,” there’s also always something to do, whether it’s decorating the house or island, looking for the perfect villagers to recruit as neighbors, or chasing butterflies.
Some players prefer a more guided experience, with specific achievable goals to strive for. These players will enjoy Nook Miles achievements, a series of 87 missions, each with 1 to 6 subquests. Some of these achievements are easy to obtain and most players will come across them naturally during the game. But Some achievements are incredibly difficult to obtain and can take anywhere from a few hours to literally years to complete.

Rock splitting champion takes some time in ACNH
Hit a rock 8 times to get 8 different items
This task seems seemingly simple, but it can be difficult to master to earn Nook Miles. Every day, a rock appears on the island and can be hit to make items come out. If players are quick, they can get it right up to eight times. The problem is that each time the stone is hit, players are pushed back a little, causing them to waste precious time getting back into position.
Getting this position requires speed and proper positioning. Players should stand in a corner of the rock and dig two holes behind them and next to them. These holes will prevent them from being knocked over. After that, all they have to do is hit the rock as quickly as possible.

Better network! It’s a difficult achievement to achieve
Catch five wasps in a row without running away or getting stung
Shaking a tree Animal Crossing: New Horizons It’s usually worth it, as it’s a great way to get sticks, fruit, and sometimes even entire furniture. But it can also be a dangerous undertaking, because sometimes shaking a tree knocks over a wasp nest, complete with angry wasps that take revenge by stinging the character right in the eye.
For this achievement, players must think quickly and capture the wasp before it can sting you, five times in a row. The best way to do this is to always have your net ready when shaking any tree. Once the wasps have been driven away, players must begin pressing the button to capture the offending insect.

Hosting Max requires a Nintendo subscription
Have 10 players visit the main player’s island
For this achievement, players need to get someone to visit their island through the airport. This is just a “hard” question because requires a Nintendo subscription or a friend with a Switch who you can visit locally (but still has to go through the airport).
Fortunately, it doesn’t have to be a different person each time, so friends can help each other out by taking turns visiting each other’s islands repeatedly. Players who do not want to pay for a subscription can sign up for a free trial when you are ready to complete this, then post an invite on the Active Community Subreddit Dodocodes.

Popular Pen Pal consumes a lot of time
Send 200 letters to get this achievement
The Pen Pal achievement is difficult to complete because it is not normally done naturally. This means that players who want to get this achievement need to work on sending letters, which, due to the clumsy mechanic for writing and sending letters, it is a time-consuming task.
Letters do not need to be long as only one character counts. Players can also schedule letters addressed to themselves, which do not need to arrive to count. Sending gifts of items or purchases to other players or villagers also counts towards the total. As a bonus, villagers who receive gifts in the mail usually send one back, so this is a great way to expand the item catalog.
Create 3,000 tools to achieve this
Tools are a necessary part Animal Crossing: New Horizons, as they are used for everything from cutting down trees and planting new ones to catching bugs and fish. The “DIY Tools” achievement needs a large number of 3,000 tools to craft. This achievement may take some time to complete, largely because requires shaking many trees every day just to get the materials for more DIY tools.
Fortunately, there are a few ways players can make this task simpler for themselves. The first is to remember that every item that can be held is considered by the game as a “tool”, which includes sparks, wands, instruments and even fences. The second trick that players should know is that upgrading tools also counts towards the total, which only requires a little iron (and can also be sold for a good profit).

Bugs, don’t bother me, they can be hard to reach
Unlock all bug entries on Critterpedia
Animal Crossing: New Horizons he has 80 bugs to find and catch. Some of them appear year-round and some are seasonal or only appear in specific locations. Some insects, such as the Golden Stag and Giraffe Stag, are very rare. The best way to catch them is to visit a Mystery Island, cut down all the non-palm trees, scare or catch the rest of the bugs, and simply wait.
Other insects, such as ants and flies, require special conditions to be met before spawning. A good rule of thumb for bug hunting is hunt when it rains, because this will stop butterflies from spawning and will scare away or catch any of the insects that players are not actively looking for.

DIY furniture can take a long time to obtain
Craft 3,000 furniture items for this achievement
Players will likely create furniture naturally as they progress through the game, but a typical playthrough won’t get them anywhere near 3,000 furniture items. This achievement requires players to make many of the same items just to reach the limit.
To use this trick, all players have to do is create the scattered paper, turn it into a stack of documents, and repeat until they get the achievement.
There is a trick that can be used if the player has the recipes from scattered papers and a stack of documents. Both recipes can be randomly acquired from a smug villager, and each is used to create the other. To use this trick, all players have to do is create the scattered paper, turn it into a stack of documents, and repeat until they get the achievement.

KK Mania may take some time to obtain
Participate in the KK Slider show 100 times to get it
KK Slider is a skilled guitarist pup who brings his smooth tunes to the island square every week. For this achievement, players need to watch one of his shows 100 times, listening to an entire song (which can last between three and five minutes). The problem is that the musician only performs on Saturdays between 6pm and 12pm, making it very easy for players to miss him.
It is possible to “cheat” on this achievement by traveling back in time or changing the date to Saturday until it is achieved. Those who don’t want to cheat will have to be patient: 100 times a week means this achievement takes about 23 months, or almost two years. Aside from time travel, there’s no way to make this task any faster or easier, but players might consider setting an alarm to remind them of their visit. Otherwise, they will be stuck waiting a whole week for him to return to the island.

Conquering Smile Isle is quite difficult
Respond to 300 requests from ACNH residents
Every now and then, speaking to a villager triggers a special event where they ask for a request, such as returning lost items, delivering gifts, and inviting players to visit their home (and vice versa). To complete the “Ilha do Sorriso” achievement you must obtain and complete 300 of these requests. This can be a problem, as requests are random and do not always appear, therefore, it may take some time to get enough to complete.
Often, speaking to each villager multiple times can cause a request to appear, so it’s worth trying to talk to each villager until the dialogue starts to repeat itself. It’s also recommended that this achievement be done with a character that players don’t care about, as items given to a villager often end up on display in their house or used, which doesn’t always look the best.

Cast Master may be the hardest achievement in ACNH
Catch 100 fish in a single sequence without losing them
That’s it every perfectionist’s least favorite achievement. Fishing in Animal crossing It’s quite simple, requiring the press of a button at the right time. The problem is that fish nibbling and biting animations are visually similar, often causing players to press pull the fish too soon when they see the wrong type of ripple. For a cozy game, this achievement can cause anxiety, especially as players reach their 90s.
Caster Master is without a doubt the hardest achievement to complete in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
It can be helpful to look away from the screen and use audio cues instead of visuals (to avoid accidentally pressing the button too soon). It may also help to place your thumb between or near the buttons, against the switch, so that it doesn’t automatically move when the little dimple appears. However players manage to achieve it, this is without a doubt the most difficult achievement to complete in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
