Yhwach manipulates Ichigo into disaster
After the strange opening scene, Rambling is still sent through the world of the living, the Soul Society, and Hueco Mundo, rippling outward from the damaged Soul King. Ichigo and his friends raced to confront Yahweh, believing they made it in time. But after a short face-off, Yahweh revealed to them that he had already stabbed the Soul King, causing Ichigo to run forward and try to take the blade away. While Ichigo was able to remove the blade, his Quincy blood seemingly forced him to strike the Soul King with the sword again, this time splitting him in two.
Yahweh revealed that only a being with the powers of a human, a Soul Reaper, a Quincy, a Fullbringer, and a Hollow could manage to do this, and so Ichigo had to be the one to defeat the Soul King in Yhuach’s name. . Ichigo is understandably horrified at what he’s done, and his friends are completely stunned at the sight of the bisected Soul King. No one is really sure what will happen from here; The Soul King had been the linchpin of reality for countless millennia, and now he was suddenly gone.
Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3, Episode #3 reaches out with the dark arm
Did Eve come out important?
Episode #3 of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 is entitled “The Dark Arm.” Based on the manga, fans can expect to see Captain Shunsui Kyoraku confront the still-bound Aizen in the Muken under the Soul Society, intent on finding out if their former greatest enemy is willing to stand with them to preserve existence. While the rest of the Soul Repairers are in a bit of a panic due to the shock, Ukitake is set to perform a special ritual that he hopes will help save reality – but is Ukitake really up to the task with his fragile body?
Meanwhile, up in the Soul King’s Palace, Yhwach’s Elite Guard will recover with him, giving Ichigo and friends a much more difficult group to defeat than the already-impossibly powerful Yhwach. This also means meeting Uri again, who confirmed his loyalty to Yahvah with his new fight against Senjumaru. Uryu and Ichigo were sure to have an emotional confrontation, but Uryu had very much made up his mind at this stage, and Ichigo wasn’t going to change it, no matter what he might have to say.
The situation looks pretty grim for the Soul Repairers with the Soul King now destroyed. What will become of the soul king’s divine powers now that he is destroyed? Could Yahuah, as the son of the Soul King, be next in line to inherit the powers, and if that’s the case, is there anything left that Ichigo and his friends can even do to save the day? Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 looks pretty dark at the moment, but there is always hope that all is not lost.
