Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Part 3 episodes #13 and #14 are imminent, marking the end of part 3 of the series. The events of the finale are sure to be exciting and may contain some revelations that have been a long time coming.

Episode #12 of Thousand Year Blood War part 3 saw defector Quincy Bazz-B facing off against his childhood friend and Yhwach's current lieutenant, Jugram Haschwalth. The episode revealed how deep their bond was, as both boys were survivors of an attack by Yhwach's troops that resulted in their hometown being burned down. Their previous ties were not enough to overcome the confrontation they were currently involved in, so the two men fought to the death over Yhwach's betrayal of the Auswahlen.

What happened in the Thousand Year Blood War Part 3 Episode 12?

The Quincy Defector Bazz-B takes on Haschwalth

Episode #12 of Thousand Year Blood War, titled "Friend", focused on the story of Haschwalth and Bazz-B, the two Quincy who have now come to blows because of Yhwach's betrayal of the Sternritter. The episode revealed that Haschwalth and Bazz-B knew each other as children, and that Haschwalth was a rare Quincy who was unable to manipulate reishi/spirit particles. Bazz-B was apparently quite talented, however, and took Haschwalth on as a student, much to his chagrin. However, the village where they lived was razed to the ground by Yhwach's forces, and the two boys swore revenge on him.

Yhwach's men would years later announce the formation of the Sternritter, and it was revealed that Yhwach had been searching for Haschwalth, calling him his "other half" and revealing that Haschwalth's true ability was to increase the power of those around him - including Bazz-B. Haschwalth was taken into Yhwach's army and quickly became his right-hand man, with the boy apparently letting go of his grudge against Yhwach. In the present, the two Quincy fought to the death and, despite Bazz-B's best efforts, Haschwalth emerged victorious, emerging from the encounter essentially unharmed, having killed his childhood friend.

Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3, Episodes 13 and 14 have a last word

Uryu reveals his true loyalty

Bazz-B is defeated by Haschwalth.

Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Part 3, Episode 13, is titled “The Visible Answer,” while Episode 14 is titled “My Last Words.” These titles correspond to chapters 660 and 661 of the manga, in which Uryu once again confronts Ichigo's group at the behest of Haschwalth, only to this time reveal the truth of his actions. Uryu has been secretly working against Yhwach all this time, finally signaling to Ichigo and friends that he has not truly betrayed them. Of course, Haschwalth is always watching, and Uryu's deception may finally come to an end if Haschwalth catches him.

Uryu tries to encourage his friends to return to the World of the Living using Quincy's Sun Gate, but they recognize an opportunity to defeat Yhwach once and for all. Uryu stays behind to confront Haschwalth, who never trusted Uryu and was apparently right to feel that way. It seems likely that much of the episode will be a fight between Haschwalth and Uryu, and both men's absolutely broken Schrift powers will be pitted against each other.

The anime appears to be jumping around again, likely to ensure that part 3 has a suitably epic ending that will keep fans engaged until part 4 is finally ready to air. Skip straight to Uryu vs. Haschwalth skips the battle with Gerard Valkyrie, the last Schutzstaffel to be confronted by the Soul Reapers. Presumably, that's where part 4 will pick up, although there will be very little content left to adapt in part 4, meaning a lot of original content could be on the way, even compared to the wealth of new content from Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War part 3.
