Although this series does not take place in the main continuity, the way Wolverine kills Colossus at the end of Wolverine: Revenge #3 gives a pretty definitive answer as to who would have the advantage in a battle between the two heroes. In addition to Wolverine’s natural armor being the titular and most popular mutant character in the series, Piotr’s mutant power to convert his skin into an organic metallic substance is still no match for Logan’s adamantium claws. Colossus is super strong and durable, but Wolverine is still able to break through his tough exterior with a single “snikt” through your head.
When Wolverine finally defeats Colossus once and for all, it’s clear that his quest for revenge has taken a huge physical and emotional toll on the hero.
With the final battle taking place in the snow, Colossus and Wolverine’s fight to the death is cold and relentless. Colossus towers over the short but sturdy hero and easily throws him, and Wolverine’s arm is even amputated by the brute. The two mutants become the perfect new enemies, with their fierce fight made even more exciting by the years of friendship that give real weight to the violence in the scene. When Wolverine finally defeats Colossus once and for all, it’s clear that his quest for revenge has taken a huge physical and emotional toll on the hero.
“Wolverine: Revenge” took all restrictions away from its heroes – and its villains

Hickman and Capullo’s series, which also has special red belt editions available to up the extreme gore factor, really gives the iconic mutant hero a reason not to pull his punches or claws against some of his more formidable adversaries.
Marvel has explored the potential of a villainous colossus across multiple continuities
End Wonder, Wolverine: Revengeand even the main Marvel universe
Wolverine: Revenge isn’t the only series to feature an alternate Marvel world that pits Colossus and Wolverine against each other this year, as the Ultimate Universe also sees a villainous version of the hero. Alongside their powerful sister Illyana Rasputin, aka Magik, the two Russian X-Men are on the Creator’s sinister Council of villains, secretly running things with a grand evil plan. With the announcement of a new Ultimate Wolverine also facing off against characters who are usually fellow mutants, Colossus and Wolverine continue to be established as each other’s enemies in the larger Marvel multiverse outside of Earth-616.
While the two X-Men are forced to fight to the death, it is proven that all it takes is a “cut” to the skull for Wolverine to take down Colossus.
As Hickman and Capullo’s five-issue limited series has already seen Wolverine exact revenge on those who betrayed him at the end of the third issue, the rest of the story will apparently continue to deal with the fallout from the main hero’s fallout. While the series isn’t canon to the main Marvel continuity, it still gives an idea of how two major mutant heroes would face off against each other. Like both X-Men are forced to fight to the death, it is proven that all it takes is one “snikt” through the skull to Wolverine to tear down Colossus.
