This couple from A court of thorns and roses the series needs a spin-off book, as its story is compelling and outside the complex machinations of The Inner Circle. Although news in the next A court of thorns and roses book was minimal, it will no doubt focus on the Inner Circle as they battle external threats and internal drama. That said, their stories aren’t the only fascinating ones in Prythian. Kallias and Vivianne’s dynamic is captivating and a fun opportunity for a spin-off soap operasince his story was barely covered in the series.

Kallias and Vivianne only appear properly in A Court of Wings and Ruinwith its greatest moments occurring during the High Lords meeting. Their love story is told in brief detail, but it is a story of love and unspoken hardship, highlighting the strength of both characters, even if they, similar to the couple Miryam and Drakon, are largely underused in A court of thorns and roses. This is why the story of Kallias and Vivianne he must be turned into a soap opera as it could add a new romance trope to the narrative while also offering audiences a compelling love story. At the very least, they need bigger roles in the next A Court of Thorns and Roses book.

A soap opera with the story of Kallias and Vivianne de A court of thorns and roses needs to happen, as it could expand his characterizations and add a trope the series hasn’t introduced yet. Kallias and Vivianne were, according to Feyre, childhood friendswith Kallias refusing to acknowledge her feelings due to wanting to protect Vivianne from the Winter Court’s politics. He only confessed his love for her after Amarantha trapped the High Lords Under the Mountain, leaving Vivianne to defend Winter in any way she could while searching for a way to free him.

This potential A court of thorns and roses the novel could expand on these limited details while adding an old friends-to-loves arc to the series. A Friends to Lovers Plot Has Yet to Be Featured, so showing one would give this issue a unique feel while maintaining the series’ main themes: perseverance and the power of true love. It would also expand the individual characterizations of these characters, as audiences could see Kallias’ less cautious side and Vivianne’s strength as a leader. Lastly, the the soap opera could show Under The Mountain from a new perspective, expanding the events of the series.

Having a soap opera focused on Kallias and Vivianne could expand the world-building of A court of thorns and rosesas audiences get to see the inner workings of another Court, as well as more about what happened in Under The Mountain. The early chapters, along with those from Vivanne’s perspective later on, could elaborate on the politics of Winter and what their customs are. It’s one of the Courts rarely seen in the series, so taking the time to explore it would enrich the world-building and give the audience a broader view of Amarantha’s attacks as Vivianne tries to protect herself from her.

The novel could show the planning of that rebellion and how exactly the disaster occurred, giving a look at Kallias’ mental state during that period.

As far as Amarantha is concerned, Kallias’ time, Under The Moutain, could also be expanded upon, showing what happened before Feyre arrived. A big plot point that the soap opera could flesh out is the failed rebellion against Amaranta this gave Kallias his title. The novel could show the planning of that rebellion and how exactly the disaster occurred, giving a look at Kallias’ mental state during that period. It could even address Feyre’s arrival, allowing the audience a recontextualized view of her trials in A Court of Thorns and Roses while also providing insight into the complicated mindsets of other characters.
