These 90 Day Fiancé Cast Members Left Their Kids Behind in Their Home Countries (And They Don't Seem to Care)

90 Day Fiancé featured several cast members who were criticized for willingly abandoning their children in search of a better future in the US. Since its debut in 2014, the franchise has introduced fans to different love stories featuring couples from around the world. Most of these stories end with the international partner moving to America, and this often comes at the cost of them leaving their entire lives at home behind.

Switching to a K-1 or spousal visa means they cannot immediately bring their loved ones to the United States. Sometimes these 90 Day Fiancé stars have children that they unfortunately have to be separated from indefinitely. However, fans often speculate whether some cast members chose their new relationships over their children out of selfishness. There were some controversies 90 Day Fiance stars who chose their own happiness over their children.

Larissa Lima

Where are Larissa's children now?

Larissa from Brazil met Colt Johnson online and they decided to meet in person in Cancun, Mexico while on vacation. After spending just five days in person in Mexico, Larissa and Colt knew they wanted to get married. Colt proposed to Larissa, and she came to the US in 90 Day Fiance Season 6 on K-1 visa. Interestingly, Larissa didn't even tell Colt Johnson's mother, Debbie Johnson, that she had two children. Larissa's past was a mystery until then. It wasn't until 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? 4th season that Larissa opened.

“How am I going to explain to you that I have children in Brazil?”

Later, Larissa made a video on YouTube where she revealed that she had two children, Luane and Arry. Larissa's family, including her father and mother, took care of Luane. She claimed that she helped her daughter whenever she had extra money. Larissa's father insisted that she didn't need to worry about Luane's school fees. Meanwhile, his son Arry lived with his aunt in Brazil. Larissa's father is a retired military man and she said he and his wife are great-grandparents. She added that they have a lot of time for Luane. Luane and Arry were born to Larissa, children from different relationships.

“I talk to them every day on WhatsApp and I intend to bring her to live with us.”

In 2024, Larissa's children are still not with her in the US. It also doesn't seem like she plans on bringing them to her. Larissa's statement about wanting to see her children was six years ago and she hasn't even been to Brazil to see them since coming to the US. 90 Day Fiancé fans give Larissa a lot of criticism for abandoning her children. Larissa assured her fans that she will share photos and videos when she one day visits her children or if they come to live with her in the US

Like Larissa, Jasmine is also known for her anger issues, her constant fights with her partner and her obsession with cosmetic procedures. Another thing in common between Larissa and Jasmine is that they both have two children that they left in their home country when they moved to the USA. Jasmine had two children from her first marriage to an unidentified man. Their names are Juance and JC and they will both be 13 soon. Jasmine revealed that her son JC was born with special needs. She used this as an excuse to refuse to have children with Gino Palazzolo.

“I never should have dragged my kids into this.”

Jasmine shared custody of the two boys and decided to bring them to the US with her after getting permission from their father. However, Jasmine realized that wasn't going to happen when Gino revealed that he had forgotten to put their names on his K-1 visa application. It would take up to two years and not six months for the children's visas to be approved because of Gino's mistake. He was also unwilling to pay fees to an immigration lawyer to speed up the process.

It has been almost two years since Jasmine has seen her children. Jasmine now has a green card and still hasn't returned home like she wanted. It looks like Jasmine may have used her children for a story 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? to gain sympathy, and it was never her plan to have them with her. Jasmine has a new boyfriend in Michigan and, following her split from Gino, is free to explore any glamorous career she desires.

However, for now, Jasmine may not want her children to live with her and Matt in his apartment, where she lives, after Gino kicked her out.
