Theresa Nist is moving on after her divorce from The Golden Bachelor

She confirmed that the divorce was not just because of “the location thing.” Instead, Theresa alluded to deeper marriage issues that arose when she and Gerry met. She declined to go into details but stated: “you really can’t meet someone in four weeks.” Theresa admitted that they got married in a hurry to take advantage of the dream wedding offered by the producers.
While location played a role in the divorce, it was simply a sign of how little Gerry and Theresa knew each other. Gerry surprised Theresa by suggesting they split their time between several homes, while Theresa wanted them to have one “established base.” Their disagreements about where to live highlighted their opposing visions for their future and the difficulty in merging well-established lives.
