There was an immense gap in strength, meaning Axel would be able to withstand more punishment than Robby. He would wear himself out before that happened to the best fighter in the Iron Dragons dojo in Cobra Kai.

Even though the fight with Robby was only in the semi-finals, there was a sense of inevitability when it came to Axel winning the men’s captain competition. After defeating Robby, he would have advanced to the finals to fight Kwon, another fighter who was certain to win. This was evident in the fight, when a desperate Kwon resorted to using Kreese’s knife when confronted with Axel. As proven by Kwon’s loss to Robby in a previous event, he would be the weaker of Axel’s two opponents.

If that happens, it’s worth asking whether Daniel and Johnny will be able to produce a different result.
